"You should be free to be yourself. Go in stockings if it makes you feel good. Display proudly if you want. Wear a butt plug, but keep that information to yourself. I don't see any harm in buying the items of underwear that you want to wear or feel good in. That should not be controversial in the slightest. However it's unfair to sexualise things to unexpected people. For example in a shop asking about sizes, colours, types they have etc fine. The only caveat on that is maybe sex shops such as Ann Summers where there maybe more scope to ask about products in sexualised terms. Note to talk openly about the sexual application of the products but do not impose your sexual desires on to them. For example does this product have holes for my nipples, is a perfectly fine questions to ask in the context of such a store. Be polite, be respectful and engage with them about the products. Naturally a lot also depends on the staff member you talk to. I've had some very interesting conversations in such stores but you let them take the lead on what they are comfortable with if they want to be more personal in terms of the conversation. Hope you have a lovely shopping trip. Just be mindful of other people's right to feel safe and comfortable at work.
