Men...it’s really NOT ok to say...

‘I saw you earlier’

‘Have you got two dogs’

‘You blocked me on another site, so I found you on here’

‘I just sat next to you two in a coffee shop’

Christ, why does anyone think it’s ok to come across like that?! NEVER GOING TO BE OK.

Been there.

Used to get messages a good few years back from a couple who would regularly say 'I saw you today'

For the longest time I didn't know who within the couple it was (as after the initial message they wouldn't reply!), or where they'd seen me even other than it was generally when I'd always been shopping in a certain area.

Spotted a verification on a friends profile from them - asked him about them. Turned out that the lady worked in my local petrol station!!!

I messaged them saying 'I saw you today' the next time I was in said petrol station as he'd shown me a face pic so I recognised her

Didn't get the messages after that lol

I did meet them some time after that in a club and they seemed lovely - don't think they had any idea just how creepy I found the whole thing!!!!

I had an online food shop delivered a few weeks ago, came on here after I'd put the shopping away to a message asking if my name was **** & I lived at ****?

I was terrified as to how he knew my full name & address, he said he was my delivery driver from just now, we had chatted previously on here & he recognised me.

He also had my mobile number from the customer information he had & said he could WhatsApp if I'd like or pop back on his break.

Terrified me & I told him so, couldn't say what he looked like but since I've been very conscious of who's delivering the shopping but he's never messaged again to say it was him.

That’s sackable as it’s a privacy breach under GDPR law. Imagine a Dr or counsellor who knew about your recreational sex from work texting you in a personal after getting your number off the work system- they be gone.

Not pleasant. So what if you reckon you've seen me/us?! Is there a Golden Ticket I don't know about, to fuck me senseless, having found me?

Most of the time they are wrong in any case.

I had someone judgementally rant once, informing me they were going to 'out me' to their brother for cheating. I had no idea who he was. I don't even have a brother-in-law!

Others have been far more creepy and intimidating.

My first instinct was to say report him.

My second was, what if he turns nasty.

A lady that comes to my office that I often chatted mentioned something on Facebook and asked if I was on Facebook. At the time I had recently joined she asked me to send her a friends request which I stupidly did.She later tried to get me into trouble at work saying I had sent inappropriate messages to her when tbh she put videos up and I made a couple of comments to her via messenger which in hindsight I shouldn’t have.

I think it is in circumstances like this, where someone is being creepy and stalkery.

So if I’m reading this right, you did actually send her inappropriate messages? Based on videos that, due to Facebook’s rules, would not have been in any way explicit. And yet you think she’s in the wrong?

If you report him you identity won’t be shared with him and I expect her does it routinely. It’s very sinister behaviour and a likely route a sexual predator would take. I work in safeguarding, trust me. Not good.

. I didn’t think the message I sent was inappropriate however she obviously thought it was.Which was why she reported me.

Fair point about him doing it often, could be anyone reporting him.

Worrying.

get intouch with the store you had a delivery from and tell them the time and date and explain what's happened. Say he contacted you on whatsapp or Facebook rather than fabswingers. Surely that's against some rules.
