Looking at a couples photos yesterday we saw that all the strait edges around the "lady" were warped. It became obvious that the images had been altered to make her look a lot, lot slimmer.

We have also come across couples whose photos were so old they could have been painted on a cave wall.

What is the point.. If you want to meet then the truth will come out.

Have you had a meet with someone who looks nothing like their photos?

That’s funny , and yes we’ve had a situation once where we meet a couple for a social and thought the parents had taken their place . Out of politeness we did stay for one drink and made our excuses to go home

Most people I’ve met haven’t looked quite like their photos. Some better to be honest, but most have just looked a little different as they’re obviously taking their best pics and haven’t quite looked as good, but you come to expect it a bit.

I have been catfished a couple of times, so made my excuses and left.

I am quite blunt if I get sent a heavily filtered face pic and ask for it without the filter. If they get offended, so what. I take it I’ve had a lucky escape.

I hate taking selfie’s and never look good in pics, so I’m quite happy that people will think I’m as good if not better than my face pics

I've never photoshopped or tried to change a pic using a filter - I use black and white filters or the one that darkens the edge of an image if there's something in the periphery I'm not happy with, but that's as good as my digital skills get.

My photos are all as flattering as I can take though - I don't post anything where I look like the back end of a bus.

Prior to a meet I will exchange a face photo taken within a day or two, and it's a fairly straightforward candid photo, no duckface or mad filters that give me huge alien bug-eyes.

I really don't want someone's first impression when we meet to be a disappointment so I'm pretty open about who I am and how I look.

I've only been really duped once, with a guy who lied about his age to get around filters on here and used old photos. It was a huge shock when he turned up 20 years older than expected.

I had the social and we had a pleasant enough time but I wouldn't verify him afterwards and wouldn't meet him again.

I've seen some hotpics with thousands of fabs where I've thought people will be amazed when they meet because they are so awesome they make the skirting boards warp and straight lines don't exist in their world

It's important to be honest about your body image. We've seen people that have pics on their profile that aren't them when we've come across them at clubs

Did you message any of these couples? If no then what's it got to do with you? Maybe look at your own up to date pics before you comment on someone else x

There is one on there all the time who shops the fuck out if her stuff.on one of her vids she uses a filter and it drops out for a second...so obvious, that and the hands like claws from stretching the photo

My phone sometimes smooths my face in my photos as default.

It's only under artificial light so I'm not sure why it does it.

I don't use filters but I do pick the photo that makes me look the least ugly.

Painted on a cave wall!!

My pics are all cropped and very close up because I'm hideous. This way I get lots of sex offers.

To answer the original question yes I have. Had a meet once that transpired the lady had been sending pictures of her totally different looking sister!

As it turned out she was still lovely so all good. But didn't recognise her at all upon meeting.

Some are obvious but you see Some with women in their late 40 or 50s with so many filters they look like teenagers I think swinging your pictures really should reflect what you actually look like because it's dishonest
