Going to be completely honest. Not going through the best time right now. Is it bad or wrong that I'm looking for attention from strangers? Feel like I can't talk to the people I know from regular life

No not at all. However being 'needy' is not a great trait.

It's always good to talk, and strangers can be the best listeners, they don't want anything from you or you from them other then an open honest and frank conversation.

Given this site, we are ALL here for something. Meeting people socially or otherwise. It's part of human nature.

Talk to strangers will help you release the proverbial 'pressure value'.

It's an open book, you decide what story you want to tell.
