Hey fabbers and fabettes...do you read a person's verifications and find yourself a bit put off them? I read one and the veri was very descriptive and made me look at this person in a different way...or maybe veris should be more general? How does verifications work for you? Good or bad?

Graphic descriptions of what they did, along with "hands off, he's mine!", etc, simply look like fakes.

I’d say exactly the same but also add that we do look at the profiles of some of the verifications. You’d be surprised what they sometimes tell you about their conquests. They’re good to give a general idea of the person/couple.

Agree with this although it is always nice to read what people think of you and the meet but Does feel a bit like a “Trip Advisor” review sometimes.

If nothing else, it shows you are genuine and will most likely turn up.

A slightly different take on the verifications topic. We were speaking to a really cool guy a while back about a meet. He was verified but none were available to read.

He explained that was because the members who had provided them had subsequently left the site. An explanation which satisfied us perfectly.

Until by accident we stumbled across some very lurid verifications he had written to other guys graphically describing how delicious their cocks were and how much he had enjoyed being fucked by them.

A bit of a surprise as he had told us he was straight!!

Now we realised exactly why his own verifications were hidden. Clearly it was nothing to do with the users leaving the site.

Busted. Lol

Some put me off for a very different reason OP when they are badly written which normally includes bragging on the males part, I do wonder of the standard of the people that the woman meets

For a while I didn't worry about veris because I don't make first contact anymore but on the odd occasion that someone gets in touch with me I will look at their veris if they are available.

I'll also follow the verification trail add that can be very informative and can often put me off chatting to people.

They can also determine whether or not I will engage with them in the forums especially if the veris Steve consistent with their forum persona.

Profiles with a single veri from a hidden profile are also to be avoided as they are usually fake.

This entirely. Although I have received a couple that are borderline that I occasionally show them take off.

On a previous profile I have had people put off by the amount of verifications. This profile is going the same way to an extent, so may be a little more selective

On a previous profile I received an unsolicited veri from another man. He claimed to have met me at a group social.

There were only a few people at that social and we had all verified each other but this man was definitely not there and no-one has any idea who he was.

To add to the confusion he said I was a very sexy lady and he looked forward to meeting again.

It took lots of messages to admin to get it removed.

My last verification was 15 months ago.

I hid them all a year ago because of a stalker issue and couldn't display them again until this week but during that time no-one has asked about them. A good forum presence can also tell you a lot about a person.

I look at the veris and also the profiles who have left them too. I would expect people to do the same to mine. It gives and idea of who they have met (although I do appreciate not all meets result in veris).

If one thing puts me off, its the 'treat them with respect' comment, for some reason it just does my head in.

Not how she gushed or how she sucks fucks or anything....its kinda put me off a person....but I read her veris in return and pretty much the same....dont think I will engage with her as much....just keep to the occasional chat....x

As regular visitors to our local club Liberty Elite we met and socialised with quite a few people. Many have verified us on FAB bit we haven't played with all of them. So people seeing our many veris might be put off, but we just love socialising as much as sexy fun x

As I’ve mentioned earlier, it’s put people off me in the past.

Doesn’t put me off in the slightest. Think it’s a bit judgemental to be on here and be put off by numbers. Not all veri’s are from sex either. Socials and clubs etc.

Yep I have been put off in the past, by over the top graphic ones or ones where they've been verified by the same person several times, seems a bit territorial.

I take the gushing ones with a pinch of salt, I met someone years ago who had really good veries. Yet when I met him, he was nothing like I'd expect from looking at his verifications alone.

We have point blank refused them.

What happens on tour stays on tour.

It is like a trip advisor review (who, what, where, how and sometimes photos)

All that is missing is a score out of 10.

Why do people say they want discretion and then put a list up of who they have been with.

For my own reasons I don't accept verifications, on a previous couple's profile we had several & we were quite selective about which we would display because some people went into way more detail than necessary.

I do read veris though, if a profile captures my interest, and I also follow the verification trail. There have been several occasions where I have been put off by what I've read or who they have met.

We're all here for the same thing (and it's not like our pictures dont tell a story) but we want to know if the persons we meet are genuine and sociable. Wed rather see "met this lovely person for a coffee and chatted for a few hours before... etc etc" over "arrived at this persons room and proceeded to do x,y or z to them".

Not judging anyone for anything, it's just we enjoy the social side as much as play and without the social side, we wont be playing...so that's what we look for.

Some veris can put me off. Graphic ones I take with a pinch of salt. Ones that have been written in such a way you know the other person is not wanting anyone else to meet the person they veried would be a big red flag and I'd stay away I don't need the drama that can bring.

We had someone cancel a meet short notice because he’d just read our Veri’s and decided he couldn’t compete with the guys we’d already met!

I mean he could have read them before we’d arranged to meet up, we’d been chatting for a few weeks.

We tried exposing Fab wasn’t a competition, and that we like varied meets but to no avail.

We learnt to curate our Veri’s after that to show a more balanced view of what we are looking for and the type of meets we like.

To be honest, we get put off more by profiles who demand "verified only" or "no newbies" - often snottily written in a way a green tick is the be all and end all on here. Tickles us sometimes as said demanding profile was new once and needed someone to take a chance meeting them to verify them.

Depends on the person/people to be honest. Occasionally read them but mostly just go off the actual people we're talking to.

I don't actually read verifications until I start talking with someone. Then once we've conversed a little while, I might read the odd one or two, by that time I've usually already decided if I'd like to take things further.

Tbf, I'm wasting my time reading verifications anyway, as 95% of the time they usually read like 'great girl/bloke. Genuine. Treat them well. Met in a club last night, chatted, didn't play, but hopefully next time.'

I'll quickly browse a verification to see if what's said in it correlates with what's said in their profile, to see if that person is who they are. Pretty easy to tell usually.

Basically verifications really don't mean a lot.
