I'm not sure if it's just me but I find this site very difficult to even get a conversation with women on here as a mid 20's single lad

I was first here at 24. Had a great time. Definitely women out there for you. Just searching and using the site to the best you want to make it and you'll have some fun when everything is back to normal.

I meet and talk to plenty of men your age as do my older friends and club friends.

It’s more likely the fact your profile says nothing about you. X

Problem is a lot of single guys come on here, put up a one line profile and a mediocre photo or two, then expect to be drowning in women.

Is that really best efforts??

Only issue I really have (and no hate please because its a personal issue) is that my kids are that age! Make my stomach churn thinking about being intimate with someone that age! I've had a few messages from lads that age and have politely turned all of them down! I just can't!

Hello OP

Firstly, you will need to accept some facts. Some people on here will have zero interest in meeting with you simply because of your age. There is nothing you can do about it, so don't fret. Fortunately there are also plenty of others that would like to meet a young man like you, so concentrate your efforts on them. Refine your search by ticking the "I must match their age requirements too" box. Also refine your search by age, distance etc. Don't just message people willy-nilly, messaging people who aren't interested from the outset is not going to help you.

Once you have those search results READ their profiles. It's such basic advice but so few follow it. Don't bother messaging those whose profile you don't meet. If it says they are looking for a bi guy, or a chubby guy, that's not you so don't waste your time or theirs.

Now, providing you have sent a message that will entice them to look further they will 99% of the time look at your profile before responding. So now you have to sell yourself. Right now the 15 words you have wrote on your profile couldn't sell a starving man a Big Mac, so it's not going to sell you to prospective meets. Write something about you, what you have to offer, what your limits are etc. Basically - make people interested in you - make them want to know more.

Put on some better pics. Face pics are best, cock pics are generally not required in your public profile. Anything in between is great. Use technology a little better, if you don't want to show your face use a blurring or cropping action, just scribbling it out looks tacky and will put some people off.

However your profile is not everything. Get involved with the forums, get involved in the chatroom too. Then get off the site and meet people socially or try a club when the times allow.

There are plenty of people that would be interested in meeting with a young guy like you, us for example if you had been closer, but the hardest part is finding and attracting those people, and your profile is not currently doing you any favours.

Age is a factor for some, for others it isn’t. Unfortunately it’s nothing something you can change. But as said above a solid profile with a good bio and decent pictures will take you far.

I’d say get involved in the forums more, hit up the chat rooms and clubs/socials/parties in your area when they start up again. Much easier to show yourself off in person then via messaging at times

I personally find the profile writing hard, it's difficult to write about yourself and sell yourself effectively, and pictures are also difficult whilst trying to stay private

Writing about yourself is hard as it’s not always an easy thing to do, especially if someone isn’t used to bigging themselves up.

The thing is though, people on here are into everything from gimp masks, whips and chains to tantric sex to the sounds of classic music, and everything in between. So a profile, for me, needs to give a clue what kind of part of the scale someone falls on.

Same with the kind of connection someone wants - is it exclusive fun with one person, regular fun with lots of people or strictly one off encounters?

Bad news, we’re in a pandemic, good news is that you’re in the age range that is the most popular on this site. Treat meeting someone on here like a marathon, not a race. You’ll probably wonder at times if you’re wasting your time, if it’s worth your time. Just hang in there.
