I am naturally more of a Dominant man when it comes to sex and enjoy the feeling of playing the Master/Sir role

Equally I am bisexual and like to submit to the right man or women

I’m a switch and it depends entirely on my partner. I find it difficult to switch between the two roles with one person, I feel like once they’ve topped me there’s no going back. Or at least that’s my experience

Much prefer being dominant but very happy in a sub role too

Playing the role of Dom or Sub is 100% about mutual trust and that trust has to be earnt over time

I am bisexual and have found myself at the receiving end of a unwanted Dom man - it is not a good feeling

I'm a dom and a dd, thou trust has to built up before a full dom experience, thou taking charge can happen at a 1st meet.

Ddlg is a progressive thing takes time to build the trust and understanding of a proper ddlg relationship same goes for dom ownership

I'm Dom. Never been anything but. I can tone down to a slightly more vanilla Dom but I'll only ever be Dom. I've looked deeply in the psychology behind it and try cater any meet to any partner I have, regardless of whether or not they see themselves as a Sub or not.

Definite Dom. A few years back I managed to find a nice girlfriend who was totally submissive. Our sex life was amazing and intense, which meant our sleep budget was poor.

Honestly I would consider myself neither. Yes sometimes I like to be in charge and sometimes I like to be the one told to do things and controlled but all in all I don't consider myself to be either domme or sub. I enjoy sex and I enjoy exploring different things with people I trust but I don't think I'll ever see myself as a domme or sub .

If I do "switch" to Sub for man or women, there still must be ground rules set, otherwise the experience can be bad.....

Example is that I met a single fem and few years ago, she wanted me to be her Sub, tie me up and use a strap on to fuck me - I agreed and whilst the foreplay was awesome, she tied me wrists to tight and her dildo was fecking huge and hurt me badly

I could be considered a sub at heart but I don’t like labels as they come with expectations.

On Fab I prefer to go with the flow.

A D/s relationship requires a lot of work and communication... and most people are not ready to work at it.

But a respectful man with dominant tendencies in the bedroom can be fun

I don't think there is an issue with the words "Dom" or "Sub", it is just that they are not very helpful alone. "car" is an adequate word for general use but not helpful if you want to buy one. The questions that arise are what type? colour? size? fuel? etc.

Likewise the kink world likes to lay claim to the meaning of "Dom" and "Sub" but few actually can agree on a meaning. This because, first, kinksters like to think they are rebels against society and hold in disdain anything as conformist as agreeing terms. Second, and few admit it, definitions are deeply personal to them. If I were to say "parent" people think of the word in relation to their own parents. The same applies with "sub and dom" it is seen out of their own experiences, it is a personal concept.

People also seem not to know the difference between topping/bottoming, and dominance/submission.

However I would suggest that there are broad categories of dominants, none of the types are good or bad (provided there is no abuse or exploitation), because being a "Dominant" is not a competitive sport, it is just a behaviour.

Because I am not a 50SOG hater I use "Porn Dominant" who has watched the porn films online and wants to get with wild sex craving women who automatically melt at the words "Master" or "Sir" and the women will be willing at a drop of hat to indulge in sex and does not mind being treated painfully.

"Sex Dom" he knows his mind and he knows what he wants and what he wants is sex, where he is on control. He knows nothing and cares nothing about relationships or kink protocol, or learning any skills of kink. He just wants anyone who will have sex when he wants, how he wants and with his friends if he says so. He wil also send the sub out to bring in other women for him.

"Old School Dom" whose view of the job of the sub is to simply say "yes, I am here to serve" and do just that. Also known to wear black, with a belt with hooks for his floggers.

"Dictionary Dom" The dictionary defines "dominant" as being assertive. They are assertive, therefore they are a "Dominant", normally fond of rough sex and telling subs what to do.

"Modern Dominant" has read"Screw the Roses" and believes in the equal role of both sub and dom. Is thoughtful and usually skilled and can be taken home to meet the parents. His latex is always shiny. But a huge disappointment if the sub just wants to be grabbed and made to feel used.
