We have a dilemma here.....much as we like to just block and delete, we feel that this just gives them the excuse to think of us as rude/ignorant/arrogant for just ignoring them. So sometimes we reply pointing out the error of their ways. Only to be thought of as rude/ignorant/arrogant

It’s a funny one, issue is one the one hand I understand a copy and pasted message, guys get a pretty rough time and have a pretty poor success rate but It does wind me up when they clearly haven’t read the profile or like you say you just get like “nice rack” etc

When I do send messages, the person has to have done a profile that Is full of information that I can build some rapport with. Otherwise it is very difficult for guys to make a good first impression. But take your point. Problem is to some guys it’s a numbers game and they’re just sending random similar messages to who they like, not a personalised message to each person, as it should be.

I always read the profile.

I always try to make it clear I have done so.

Some responses are readonably long responding to their likes, dislikes and common ground.

Thos will usually illicit no response.

I havecseen it from the perspective of a single malevso I get copy and paste.

I have also seen it as a couple, bombarded with crap single male responses with the charm of Rab C Nesbit and clearly have not read the profile.

Just as irritating as being ignored.

There doesn't seem to be an equitable solution to this one
