Can you appear online when your not ? Just had grief off a guy I'd been chatting too cos I never read his message. Tried explaining I wasn't on my phone as gone for a shower to which he replied well your were online ?

If you leave your browser open you'll show up online. Also even when you've logged out, it takes time to update.

ive noticed you can log out but will show on line for about 5 mins after logging out

Personally I wouldn't explain to people who get aggressive. You're under no obligation to respond immediately

It takes a little time for the status system to catch up that you’ve logged off - a few mins usually. And I echo what everyone else has said about the aggressive questioning! Like you owe some random dude anything on here!
