Shangri-la

No plans for any new Fab meets this year. My priority will be catching up on lost time with friends & family.

We have kept ourselves safe all the way through. We've been chatting with people on fab trying our best to work out who the crazy people are who don't seem to grasp how deadly this has all been. Blocked a lot of people who have had no regard for other people's well being. Things are looking much better now with the vaccine roll out. We have had 2 socially distanced socials with folk over the last few weeks we've been chatting with when things were bad. Mitigation is the way forward, at this moment in time we wouldn't meet complete strangers we don't know from Adam. Sitting back and watching how these next 2 months pan out. Still taking things at a slow pace no matter how many tell us flu is worse, try telling that to our family members who didn't make it through the last 15 months and all the other families who are grieving due to this pandemic. So to conclude would we meet, yes but in surroundings and with people we deem safe

This time next week we will both have had our second jabs and restrictions will be further lifted not long after. Like others we don’t plan to reckless but equally we want to start returning to things we have enjoyed in the past.

We will start meeting again in the coming weeks or months but with people we trust and have built up a bit of a relationship with over the lockdown period and some old friends we can’t wait to see.

We've played it safe during the whole of it and like most our block list has grown and we are planning to have a small social event at our place as soon as we feel it's safe to do so and been very eye opening on here during all of it and very surprised at how many experts and scientists are members of Fab ??? as we both thought they'd be way to busy helping out but seems most were busy taking pictures of their nether regions and sending messages asking for "Fun" and perhaps that goes someway to explaining us having the high death rate we had as pretty nigh on impossible to keep your eye on the ball whilst finding time to ....xx

And forgot to say amazes us most of all that they were allowed to pleasure themselves in such a supposed sterile setting ??( how they got around the camera's ??) and even allowed Beer and to bring in their various remotes and smelly under arm stuff ??? also having a safe meet standing so far apart wearing masks would make a complete mockery of the word "Discrete" ???? but we are guessing they operate at a far higher level than us ?? and have a secret page or access at a higher level on "Facebook" ...the wonders of modern science never fail to make our jaws drop...
