Face pictures

So you have been chatting you ask for a face picture they send you are not attracted at all to them and say thank you but no thanks. Do you still send a picture back ?

There’s no need to send a face pic unless you intend to keep chatting just as friends. If the ‘no thank you’ is the end of your interaction there’s no need to share photos.

It's your choice, but it would seem fair if they sent you one - and if you do not like the look of someone, just be honest ;

"Thank you but not for me" is a good stock answer

Just an honest reply would be the best way to go.

No photo required if you dont want to take things any further.

I think an honest reply with no photo doesnt do any damage, but being ghosted (as the poster above me said ) can really mess with people mentally after messaging over a period of time.

I can see that the OP never mentioned ghosting, so thats really refreshing to hear.

In fact, all of the replies to this post have been refreshing to read.

I don’t send face pics first for this reason as I get frustrated or wary as I’m quite discreet, I prefer FaceTime so we can see each other at the same time and chat

It depends - if they send their face picture voluntary (without us asking for it ) and if there is no attraction, then we always say “no thanks” politely and we are under no obligation to send our face picture. But if we are the one who asked for it first, then it ethically we are obliged to send our face picture, whether we like the looks of them or not.

I think a polite reply saying no is all most people expect - not getting any reply can be upsetting/ annoying though.

Luckily most people on here that I have had contact with are decent naughty people
