What’s the deal with people when you say no to someone and they come back with “your loss”? Really don’t get this at all as it just solidifies the no in the first place.

they are just pissed off at being turned down. Just ignore it and move on.

It's best not to reply with a "no", there's too many stories of abusive messages. If not interested, it's best not to reply. No reply is a polite "not interested" .

I get alot of men calling me out for being rude for not replying, but I feel that not replying is a gentler way of showing disinterest than having to say 'no'!

So many ugly stories at the moment. Abuse, stalking, cat-fishing. I know people who have left the site over the last six months because of it. The latest lockdown has brought the worst out in people.

What happened to keeping a dignified silence? Maybe I’m old school. No one likes rejection. If you are on any type of dating site, you’ve got to accept it.

‘Man-child’ problem - the technical word for this syndrome. Someone has to say the last word - could be the biggest reason for their actual state. But, whatever may be the reason, it’s uncool and worsens the image of a whole lot of us.

People who cannot handle rejection shouldn’t be swinging. Been on this scene over 15yrs and know it is all about personal taste and attraction. We know we won’t be everyone’s cup of tea and never get offended.

dont ignore report and block the more idiots you block the less idiots to deal with another time ... people really do need to realize rejection is a big part of swinging more so than in normal everyday life

"What is “cat fishing”?"

Cat fishing is using someone elses pictures to create a false profile to string someone along or lure them into meeting you. For example a lady using Cindi Crawfords pics to make a profile to get guys to meet her and when they arrive its not cindi crawford.

We've just been called 'dog cunts' by a guy for refusing to meet him tonight. Dickheads a plenty here. Rejection is best handled humbly, dismissed as quickly and moved on before the previous two mentions have even settled, op.

Well I'm sure we'd all like to think we're irresistible, but we're not and no, pride shouldn't come into it if it turns you into an arsehole.

If someone has taken the time to reply and let you down gently, at least have the good grace to accept their decision and either thank them for taking the time to reply, or move on. Why make yourself look like an impetuous child in the process?

No ‘pride’ shouldn’t come into it.

No one has the right to expect that any other person is going to like them enough to have sex with them just because they want it.

Not at all.

Pride doesn’t make someone a dickhead. Being a dickhead does.

We told a couple that we'd changed our minds about meeting them (just for a social) as they were far more experienced than we are, and that we'd prefer to meet a less experienced couple. That didn't go down well at all and now they are going to tell all of Fab how we are just messers!

I'd prefer to be a messenger than someone who doesn't allow you to change your mind

How can it be a loss when you didn’t value it in the first place?

Don't understand the rejection thing. The chances of you fancying everyone you pass in the street or who happens to support the same football team, is pretty remote so why are you expected to form an intimate relationship with someone who just happens to view the same website as you?

The name of the game is preference.

If someone does not instantly wish to have day long sex with you, shrug your shoulders and keep telling yourself its their loss not yours.

We have been on the really shitty end of someone who felt rejected and it was not nice but it did confirm our instincts were right.

G&A

It would be a lot better site if they all just left , genuine swingers understand you cant be attractive to everyone ,so its " ok guys you have fun"

You’ve got to love em. Some even go so far as to try and insult you even saying how ugly you are yet they wanted to meet, then they block lol Good luck to them I have love for all. I do prefer to be told no or at least delete the message. I don’t see silence as a friendlier option it’s a little passive aggressive ish. Those who feel rejection only do so due to self rejection. X

Rejection stings.

"Your loss" is their way of saving face I guess.

I'd rather that than an arsey or abusive message, but I very very rarely get them either.
