Interacting with profiles that have no photos...

Would you? Wouldn't you? I know everyone has a right to privacy on here. Having photos doesn't stop people being fake or dodgy but attraction plays a part in making connections right?

I have in the past, but it's hard to send on opening message to someone with no pics (unless there is a good description too) but I would need to know if there was physical attraction before going any further than chat.

I have interacted with them, but only in a friendly way in response to a status or in the forums.

I'd never try anything other than that as how could I know if I'm attracted to them? There needs to be some form of attraction, and it would seem a waste of their and my time if it wasn't there.

Do you think they want anything else, or are they just hiding away from it all right now?

Thing is you can have pictures of yourself that reveal nothing about your identity, so if they have no pictures, i see that as a lack of effort, just my opinion

Occasionally if the profile intrigues me, rarely get anything back and even rarer a face pic (despite supplying one). Folks are all different so I try not to take too much from it and just assume I'm of no interest and move on.

We don't bother with those profiles. You can post pics that conceal your identity, that's what most profiles on here do. It comes across (to us anyway) as a lack of effort. Dare say, worse than a dick profile pic which again is not for us.

I block profiles messaging who have no pics, if I get a message from a profile with only friends pics and they haven't attached any, it's a delete.

We rarely do, there does have to be an attraction going both ways, and there are far too many fakes on here just after access to people’s private photos and videos.

This ... also there seems to be a lot of black silhouette profiles lately and some that have their face pics public but have a black silhouette profile pic now that one really confuses me and I won't reply to any it states that on my profile

I feel different about showing photos on here. I will send people my photos in private messages, but I dont want my face for public viewing because of my job and I don't want other people I may know seeing me on here! Body pics could be anyone!

Really do hate that excuse because of job do you go to work undressed ? None needs to show face but entirely up to the individual what pics they post bit really can't see anyone who has no pics doing very well on here unless they attend lots of socials or clubs and get known that way xx

We understand being discreet, but that's not an excuse not to have any pictures.

I will interact with them and have met a few as well, they run their fab profile one way but are happy to send pics, video/phone chat other ways, I guess its how much you get on in the initial conversation as to how far it goes

If they send a really interesting message, & their profile bio captures our interest, then we might have a conversation with them. If they have no pics & no bio & send anything other than an exceptional message, then it's unlikely we would interact.

Base my decision on the content of the message and profile. Generally those I've replied to are happy to send photos, had some crap interactions from people with photos and it's not like we've been able to meet anyway so not blind date. If there's nothing on profile and it's just a 'hi' message then I'd prob not respond.

Have to say I generally don't accept messages from people without at least one public photo, but some are very good at making one public, so they can message and bypass the filter then set it to private photo afterwards. That gets a block.

As we have naked photos on here it would be nice for people who send a wink or message to have then on here to we know people want to be discreet that's fine we never ask for face photos and don't send them due to people using them on there profile's and we have had people giving us trouble when they know who you are so called friends

Most profiles just have close up body parts that could be anything or anyone.

Pics mean nothing to me. I meet people not body parts.

Most of the time dont even read the msgs to be honest just straight delete.

Anyone can out up a pic of a torso or whatever but nothing at all whether right or wrong just says fake or a husband playing away so straight delete.

I prefer some idea of who I am chatting with but understand the need to be careful with face pics in some instances. If somebody refuses to send a picture after chatting with me for a bit, I would tend to prefer not to meet.
