Honestly don’t understand the point of people who mark messages as unread when not interested. Just leave it as read and that’s a way of saying “no thanks”

Anyone think this feature should be removed so people know where they stand?

It can be useful if you quickly looked at a message, but wasn't too come back to it as you haven't got time to reply properly.

Marking as unread to show they are not interested just seems like a crazy use of it though. Do people really do that?

I use it when I've briefly read a message but haven't got time to answer there and then ... mark it unread then I'll get around to it later

Exactly the correct use of it, I don’t know maybe some are doing the same but by the time they have logged back on the message has been lost in the vast amount that females receive
