"Just wondering what people’s thoughts are on those that are willing to travel a fairly large distance for a meet. For context, I live in a very rural area so travelling is pretty much a given and I often travel all over the U.K. visiting friends anyway. However I have found some resistance from people when I mention I’m happy to travel 3-4 hours for a meet." If you're thinking a first meet then not many would be happy for you to travel that distance, me included, as you really don't know each other and that's a long way for a social or if it didn't work out! I'm seriously rural too and love travel but without a lot of chat, phone and video chat wouldn't consider that! Literally unless I was going to be very close anyway ... For people I know then distance either way is no problem | |||
