Best distance for Fab friends?

Always a balance - what’s your view?

Is it very close - under 5 miles - very convenient but risk seeing in the supermarket all the time?!

Is it over 50 miles away - can be a special trip and event but very frustrating for a ‘no show’ !

In reality I guess as we all know - if the people are right then the distance comes second and we find a way

Guildford

Too close just feels like trouble!

So at least a few miles in it!

I met someone that lived less then 2 miles away.

Iv never seen him since in any of our local shops and that was a year ago.

I prefer 15/20 min drive though normally.

The last persons I was seeing regularly off here was from over 100 miles away. It took effort but we managed to see each other fairly often. I’d like to say we made it work, but clearly we didn’t! Don’t think that was anything to do with the distance though
