"Is it a myth that having a pineapple upside down in a shopping trolley, or pineapple door knocker etc are a symbol of a swinger? Also a necklace with a swing in the pendant? does anyone actually notice these things?" not what I've seen. For narrow boats, a teapot on the roof is a traditional symbol of the scene. Likewise, the ladies anklet is an indicator, especially if it has HW letters attached. I've seen a few folks with Chameleons tattoos on their bums, hips or car stickers but I suspect that was because they are follow club members

" Incorrect, having lived on narrow boats for years I can confidently say that a teapot on the roof is the sign of a single lady living aboard, nothing to do with swinging. It's a community set up for mutual protection, security and assistance, so approaching these boats for a hookup would likely result in a very unhappy ending for everyone involved.
