Does anyone take a fan of their pic as an invitation to get in touch with someone or should you just take it as a compliment and hope they make the first move after that?

Shangri-La

Just leave it as a compliment. If they wanted to message they would. I fab lots of pics just because I like. Jusy treat it as a like on a pic on book face. You don't reply to everyone who liked your pic on there.

I’d not see it as an invitation but I tend not to instigate a conversation on here at all, just avoid s any upset, think I’ve only sent two

I think it's perfectly OK to use it in context to let you message them or not. You can't say that if they wanted to message you, they would have, therefore you must take that as a rejection or something.

Just don't abuse it and take it as an open invitation to get obsessed with them.

Nah, it is bit like a smile on a bus from a random stranger - never goes anyway.

It depends. In a previous fan life, if I saw the same person fabbing my pics I’d take it as code they were interested. Had many a jolly outcome

Yeah, if it’s a repeat fabber then you can maybe take that more as a sign

We've received fabs, fabbed back and they've led to meets. So you never know!

I don't even look at them, too time consuming.

If someone likes me, they can send a message.

If it’s from someone far away, I’ll fab a few back if I like them.

If they’re local, I will send a simple message thanking them for the Fabs. Most of the time it leads to a conversation and occasionally meeting, so I generally think some people do use them as a way of saying they may be open to chat if not an invitation.
