Ok I find this an interesting point! Let me make it clear though that I am not meeting nor am I condoning people meeting!

However the question I’d like to ask is

Once we are out of lockdown when will people meet? Remember Covid will not disappear completely and will always be about so when will it be safe to meet as the risk of infection will always be there!

Infection rates have dropped dramatically where I am and millions have been vaccinated. I guess it’s personal preference between consenting adults.

I remember after the first lockdown was listed you still couldn’t access the meet sections of this site?

Thoughts people?????

For me socials I’m happy with now but anything else when social distancing rules are relaxed so at the moment June ...... surely that’s common sense?

We got asked if we could meet this single guy.

When we told him no as its not safe he became verbally abusive and then blocked us. Supoose saved us the hassle of blocking him

All valid points and I don't think anyone has a definitive answer.

Until the vaccine has completely eradicated the virus worldwide it's something we will have to 'live' with... imo.

We've even had to takes friends from our friends list due to their behaviour. I don't mean people on friends list but actual friends who we thought had respect for others. It really is sad people throughout this pandemic have had no regard for peoples health and well being and prepared to ignore that they could pass the virus on, with devastating results for some people

Going by what I’ve seen on forums a lot are just doing socially distancing meets , some are still meeting in there small bubble of friends , but majority I would say are waiting for the vaccine and things to open up properly again like us ,which they will as can’t expect to live rest of life like recluses,it’s just a case of being a little more careful as it’s not just COVID that can affect you

You can still transmit the virus if you've been vaccinated. "If you feel safe it's up to you" is not how disease control works

Being active on Fab during lockdown is like going to a amusement park with the intention of just walking around and not going on any rides..
