"I will text and let them know I'm ok...plus they have access to my location "

I'm presuming the location is through an app so that it stays live, not just you telling them where you are going.

It's a good idea to do so, a trusted friend who could turn up if help was needed.

If it was anything other than a club I would always tell someone yes. I'd then need to check in with them at certain times.

Think it’s totally different for the ladies and shouldn’t be made fun of lads - In this day and age safety should be everyone’s main concern

Ladies should be able to go out enjoy themselves and return home SAFE

So if don’t tell anyone - probably want to your swinging hobby private pls at least tell a fellow fab friend you trust

I always give their name and address, just in case. And a time they should expect to hear from me before getting worried. Xx

As a single dad for 14 years and still now they are older teens.its been my biggest fears( men). I'm a man and i know how vile and disgusting man can be.both my girls to let me know they've got where they are going at all times even my adult daughter still gets an earful if she not text to let me know shes got to work. Girls and women shouldn't have to fear going out or meeting someone.facts are they do or this question wouldn't be here

Somewhere in Co. Down

I tell my best mate I'm going on a meet if it's a new one but apart from that no more details.I meet for a social first anyhow not that you can guarantee that it won't go a bit wrong but always meet in public and now after an incident I'd go back to my car by myself .But no I don't give out any other details other than I'm meeting someone.

When I was doing new meets pre covid I would chat for a good while before I arranged a meet the one time I didn't that was the only meet I had an issues with. Red flags tend to show if you chat for a good while.

I think if I felt the need to tell someone when going on a meet who I was meeting and their personal info I'd just leave here .
