from my experience, massive turn on =yes...partner material = no, especially once they figure out I can change tyres faster than them even in heels haha

I find I emasculate many tbh without meaning to or trying, just independant.

Same, I used to date a goal keeper on here she was lovely , very strong legs. Mostly into MFF which I assisted her with of course. We used to chat about cars, sailing, biking, house maintenance , she had more cars, bikes , climbing and sailing kit than me !

Yeah tbh I find that too! I can’t change tyres, but I find men who are looking for a relationship seem to think they have to “compete” when they find out how much I make. I get subtle (or not so subtle) negs about my job, my house etc. I don’t even have the attitude that men should “provide”, but still men bring it up or subconsciously feel they need to put me down

I'm would say I'm not superior money wise but looking back I have always earned more despite that more being in the lower wage brackets overall. It's a whole other level of misogamy tbh. I've had so much of it just for being a female mechanic. I'm full on mechanic/welder...that's funny cos I hand make my own metal panels too! I will admit I'm quite competitive especially against men, It's comes from years of feeling I needed to prove myself good enough (or better) to have my opinion & knowledge accepted.

this kinda sums me up perfectly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wP4hqkJx5U

thank you, really I'm a small figure of chaos, who has no idea of the 'box' other than what people tell me of it, never mind trying to fit in it

Remember when they point a finger 3 insecurities point back at them.
