What are people's thoughts and experiences on meeting local people from their own town?

Have you bumped into them in 'vanilla' daytime mode? Is it awkward? Have you experienced any clingy people who won't leave you alone?

But never been a problem I hope because I have always been open and honest. Definitely friends with benefits long term

I have, several times including at my place of work and at parties , I tend to meet grown ups so not been a problem , we greeted each other like old friends, had a chat , no awkwardness and no one else was the wiser ...

Not concerned and infact woukd quiet like it of locals recognised me and discreetly said hi. It be good have some local friends with the same interest and who knows the odd play time...
