Hi fabbers,I was looking at some profiles recently and saw a few with other people in pictures...so how do you get consent from that person? And how can it be proved? No judgement just curious and thought I would start a conversation about it...when I joined I had to provide a picture of me with peice of paper with username...so does the other/others in those pics have to do the same?

We always ask people we have fun with for permission to post any pictures we take , and never show faces when asked not to , for that reason if they ask for copy’s I will only give with wife’s face hidden as we like to be descrete too

I'm half a couple, so obviously any pics I have are with my other half.

It's hard to know on here if someone's pics are being used with their knowledge isn't it? .

Especially when it's several different people.

I don't think they do have to do similar with verifying other parties.

You see many male profiles full of ladies only and no pics of them.

some people identify the 'players' with a textbox naming them. others blur the faces.

there doesnt seem to be any way of confirming consent.

On any of my profiles, here or elsehwere, if i want to post a photo with soneone else in it, i simply ask, and if they decide later they want pics removed, i remove them.

Really simple.

Which is cool...but do you think everyone does that? I think the guy i read about got a prison sentence for posting on here...

We had one disallowed because there was someone wayyyyy in the background for some reason. Not identifiable at all but it's the admins decision and they are there to keep us and others safe so happy to abide by it. Other pics we obscure faces even though they aren't in a sexual scenario

I was in a fwb relationship with someone from here a few years ago, he took some photos of us playing that were for his eyes only (thats what I agreed) when we ended I asked him to delete them all.

I can back on here & saw he had too, his new profile had all those photos that he'd supposedly deleted, couldn't see my face but I didn't want them on here, I don't have those type of photos on my profile.

I messaged him to ask him to remove them, he just put them in him friend photos but still sent them in messages (had a friend he'd sent them too). I messaged again saying I didn't give him permission to use them, reported him on here & also threatened to report him to the police.

He has since left but I will never let anyone take any photos of me again, no matter what our relationship.

I often wonder if the profiles with others in them are still happy some time later for their photos to be used, just because someone contented at the time I think that every time they are sent to someone in a message or uploaded to a profile the consent should be re asked for.

As someone that works with professional photographers and some not so professional. I have done shoots in public and privately so my comments are from my point of view and those I have worked with.

If we are shooting publicly, we have always made people aware that we are shooting and they maybe in the background. They have the simple choice of moving or requesting to be blurred out of the shot.

People are not always aware that they are in the shot so for me the responsibility lies with the person taking the shot to gain consent from those in the shots.

Now sometimes it does happen that you don’t realise that someone is the background, in those cases the people in question would be blurred out/edited out or the picture discarded/deleted if the consent from that person hasn’t been obtained or can’t be obtained as it some random person.

Often there is confusion regarding who owns the pictures, unfortunately the person taking it does , while I may be the model I have no actual rights over the pictures. I do have I right to express how those are used. It’s down to the person taking the pictures whether they choose to honour my wishes.

So choose your photographers carefully and wisely.

For me personally I post that involved anyone else, whether it the photographers, riggers , those who have beaten me or any type of play. I will always gain consent from all parties and follow any wishes they may have. I will also credit each of them as well , even if it means it’s left with a tag of anonymous. Not applicable here on this site but it is on other sites that I use.

So for me it’s simply just ask people use your grown up words and that way everyone stays happy.

I have asked in the past why have pictures of other people, they will claim they have consent. Or that the person isn’t on the site and wouldn’t mind.

Unfortunately it’s quite prevalent and I’m guessing it’s that person or couples way of showing they’ve had sex at least once

I personally don’t like it, but as long as they get past the screening process there’s not much we can do apart from ignore them if they message us.

I wonder what the law says about this? Any lawyers? My photos never identify the individual, and I always ask about posting online before I do. I know that there is a law about revenge porn where you can't post porn without someone's consent, but I don't know if that consent has to be written or not. What I generally do when taking the video is I ask them while on camera if it's OK to post online and that way I have it on video that they gave me consent. The other is I send them the video or pics on WhatsApp and ask if it's OK to share and that way I have it in writing.

It happens all the time. Seen many a post from people frantic that their picture is being used with only part of the profile owner in the pic.

Also, for general reference, ALWAYS assume that any picture of video taken of you will be posted online, sent to your parents and used to bl*ckmail you, that's why it's important not to have any identifiable features or anything which could be considered part of a photo set. If you notice most of my photos don't include my face, and the ones which do you couldn't recognise me by because makeup and wig has completely changed me and disguised me.
