Dogging question

If you are at one of the car park locations would the police speak to you or follow you getting info from your reg plate. Other words if you are not playing or doing anything can the police still do you via a letter once they have the info from dvla

I have had the police chat with me 4 times in a well known area for dogging, twice i was sitting in my car alone, once in someone else’s car and once outside a guys vehicle. Nothing was going on aside from chat.

They try scare tactics by taking your name and address and checking your car reg but there is nothing they can do if your parked somewhere that allows parking. Your not breaking the law.

They are very careful what they say to you, not accusing you of anything, only that you are in an area known for anti social behaviour.

Dont talk to them as if your not aware and they wont think your taking the piss.

The fourth time they saw me they just said ‘hello, we already know you”

I should add this was pre Covid and no keep local restrictions.

At present its probably asking for a fine unless the dogging site is within a few miles and its daytime.

Been 'advised' by the police that I'm parked in a dogging spot. I said I already knew that. Nothing they can do as I'm legally parked.

One once said to me " well don't say you weren't warned when a cock pops through your window" I replied that since I drive a van, it's unlikely unless they brought a step ladder with them!

The main worry would be during covid restrictions I guess they might trace you and fine you for that, but surely if you said you had gone for a drive to clear your head and if you did not get out of the car you should be okay. Might be wrong and someone might correct me good luck
