We have read a lot of profiles on Fab, especially during the last year. There are the occasional comments that immediately turn us off. For us some of these make us swipe!

Been on here before so know what we are looking for. Unless you have experienced everything how can you know?

It’s good to have preferences and know what you want but when the list is more than their profile text then it’s not a good look!

Profiles that don’t actually say what their preferences are - we got chatting to couple and it was 4 messages in before they said ‘we don’t kiss and we see you think kissing is essential and so we don’t think we’d be compatible’. Well if you put it on your profile then it would have saved us all a lot of time wasted

see 420 for me is an advantage & very misunderstood, it is an amazing medicine, painkiller and does so much more, we have receptors in the brain for both THC & CBD (skunk is way too strong & unbalanced). I don't drink just this.

chemicals whell that could mean lots of things but I do not partake illegally & not a fan...I just get prescribed amphetamines/methylphenidates as do many with ADHD, it's the main medication types & does the opposite to a nuerotypical brain so calms us down....I did wonder when younger why I would take sp**d then go to sleep

many adhd folk that are undiagnosed (usually cos the never thought of it, just told they were worthless and useless as they struggle to concentrate, fit in etc) self medicate with the illegal versions. due to this knowledge I always ask how they react to it and then ask other questions that are typical traits of ADHD before suggesting official diagnosis path. Women tend to be misdiagnosed as depressives/anxiety when these are actually symtoms due to struggling with adhd traits

EG. They state in their profile content, or sometimes in their Subject / Header message, they wish to meet Single Guys!

Don't think we've ever Stan'd a comment so much on the forums. It has been legalised as medicine for 3 years now after it was stopping little boys in the UK from having seizures. totally!! wasn't diminishing your choice just expanding is all, I get if folk don't like it, it's when its misconceived as being something else. ant mcparlin for instance was trying to self medicate with cocaine, unregulated obviously and was diagnosed ADHD (as many celebs do/are) richard bacon, johnny deep, michelle rodregiz, Emma watson are all adhd and other than Emma who was diagnosed young and at a time with better understanding of it, the others all get themselves into trouble because of their adhd, it is often just thought of as just affecting children and adlts should grow out of it, but they can't.

I had a joint profile. we got swamped by single males.

we amended our message to say she wouldvlook and we would contact you. Still ignored.

In the end we just blocked single males. She let me know who she fancied and I approached them.

Single men do not realise justvhow overwhelmed you get. MOST have clearly not read the prifile even if its the first line in the profile.

so I totally get why SMs get blocked. farvl easier to search and contact more potential màtches.

Yep, bang on. looking back on my life the first time I accidentally self-medicated my ADHD was when the same things my mates took then went out raving were the only things that allowed me to even START let alone finish my uni coursework!
