Yeah the far end from Perran is the place. There was a time when things went on in the dunes that attracted the attention of the police but I've not seen anything in the last few years.

I tend to stay on the beach and away from the dunes.

Never had any issue there.

Cornwall has a good selection of naturist beaches. Never had heckling (quoted above) or trouble of any sort in our years of visiting naturist beaches. July will be a good time. Go and enjoy yourself.

Downderry beach, Pedn Vounder beach (fantastic) to name just two. Also have a look on the British Naturism web site where the'll give you lots of good info' about access, beach type etc.

Have fun!

Very odd that one negative reply! We visit naturist beaches in the UK every year and have never ever been "heckled"! There is also a lot to be said in favour of not going somewhere boiling hot to do it. Our fave is Studland because it is lovely and local-ish for us. On a nice day we are there all day. We can't do more than a couple of hours in Agde without burning to a crisp! Hoping to find somewhere to get naked in North Cornwall in June

I will rave about Fisherman's cove. It's near Camborne. A bit of a careful walk needed to get to it, but it is a tiny, nearly private, slice of golden sand. End of the afternoon often results in more than nudism

Downderry is my favourite. Easier to get to than some others, and long enough to accommodate all tastes. You want the third bay - lots of lovely secluded spots. But be careful not to get caught by the tide.

Ha yes! Tried Downderry with a buddy a couple of yrs ago. Lovely and secluded bit ended up to our knees wading around the rock to get back as the tide closed in

Love Studland, there’s plenty of beach even when busy, dunes for privacy and always friendly folks to meet!

Once you head left from the pub and cross over the natural rock barrier that separates the textile area from the naturist area

It will come down to which part of Cornwall are you staying in? There are loads and the Cornish don’t complain. The more attractive beaches for this are harder to walk to so be careful if you go at low tide you may struggle to get back. If you are unsure message some of us we can help you know the paths to the tricky beaches

Hiya, first post in a forum so apologies if I ask an abvious question! Off to Cornwall myself in a couple of weeks. Staying near Penzance and wondered if any could recommend the best nudist beaches in that area and also a nudist beach in north Corrnwall quite close to the A30, can't get in to my accomodation until 16:00 so thought I may stop off somewhere. Many thanks for any suggestions

Yes, have a look at Pedn Vounder beach. It's between Porthcurno and Treen. Off the B3315. Nice beach and quite popular - genuine naturists only. Enjoy.

The problem with Pedn Vounder is that since some nerk rated it as one of the country’s best ‘hidden beaches’ in the national press, guess what? It’s not secret anymore and now gets overrun with (textile) tourists in the summer!

Fishermen’s cove is a better bet, albeit with a challenging decent.

Yes, it’s north facing as opposed to Pedn which faces south but if the tide is right (middle of the day low water) then it’s fine
