I was recently chatting and getting on really well with a women on here. We chatted in the phone, shared pics and videos. Next thing I was blocked and haven’t heard from her since. She is still active in fab in the forums. Puzzled

Yeah, I've had people chat and chat then go silent. I assume it's because they feel we haven't hit it off but I do wish they would just say so instead of awkwardly slinking away.

I've only ever blocked people for repeatedly asking for meets during lockdown despite me saying no again and again. That to me indicates a lack of respect that would make a meet unpleasant anyway.

Most people will not be attracted to most other people, so at each part of the getting to know you stage, you will find fewer and fewer people remaining.

This should be your primary expectation here. Every message, photo, conversation and interest review will screen people out. This is very positive for everybody, as it leaves just the more compatible left at each step, whether you decide against others or they decide against you. All of them may have had the dreamiest heights in mind at the start as well as felt disappointment when deleting happens.

If you don't decide on your realistic expectations, prepare to be faced with persistent surprise, shock, tears and stress, all of which were completely avoidable.

Keep your photos updated, stay honest and invest effort in to being realistic - and even more in finding and getting to know people. You will not be attractive to most of them or have matching preferences etc. This is fab life and always has been.
