Got me thinking from another thread why get married if you are sexually incompatible. Yes I know relationships evolve etc but why go through with it then complain when you are getting none.

I never understand why people moan but stay together and cheat behind the other persons back??

Ok, I have never been married, I don't have kids (because I never wanted them) But in all my relationships, if I wasn't happy, I ended it, and yes I was in a sexless one for quite a few years, so I do know what I am speaking about

I believe in marriage and the joining of one.

That is if course an idealist point of way

Sex I think for any couple becomes routine, regardless of a vow or piece of paper or ring.

It is about keeping that alive, your sexual interest and lust/fancy for each other.

However as to why people do, if not compatible because they hope they will, for convenience, money, status, some romantic notion

your quite right.

some people get pregnant then get married because they dont want to be a single parent.

maybe they dont think they will find anyone else who likes them.

Why are you worrying about it? other peoples lives and why they are here is their concern and they probably have very good reasons for doing what they do

i supose you cant help who you fall in love with sometimes.

you think that because your partner has a lower sex drive than you that it wont matter, because they are nice in other ways.
