How far would you go......

No.... not in a sexual way, but in distance.

We love our weekend breaks in nice country retreat hotels, so for us travelling for a meet is not really a problem. I'd go so far to say that we'd probably travel a fair distance for the right meet.

How many other people are willing to travel some distance for a meet, and what's the furthest you've travelled? More to the point was it worth it?

Not far for normal meets given that I’ve found a lot of people disappear very quickly when things get real.

I think we would travel long distance to go to a new club maybe, and get a hotel and make a weekend of it x

Furthest I've travelled is 2 hours. Four hour round trip. Prefer a bit more local these days, so quite happy to travel for an hour for the right couple/girl.

Once Travelled to Devon from the Northeast, yes it was worth it, I'd been chatting to her for a while, she bought the train tickets posted them both to me, open return. I was to refund her once there or we'd go halves.

I stayed at hers all weekend. It was well worth it.

Locally 30 odd miles, yes most of them, been let down couple of times too though.

Maybe fab needs an add on to show how far your willing to travel as some's idea of travel is the next street while others is other side of country

I used to travel from London to Southend by train to meet a guy, but that's when I could be bothered (and he was worth it of course). These days I prefer local meets. But if a guy is prerpared to collect me and drop me back home then distance usnt a problem.

We are more than happy to travel as far as needed to meet the right people as we tend to make a weekend away of it. The furthest we travelled was down to Cornwall which was about a 16 hours round trip.

Distant not an issue for us. If the conversation develops and it all feels good then we’d happily travel to meet genuine decent people. Local is always a bonus but we don’t dismiss due to distance.

Dubai & Nottingham

It’s hard to imagine life without some people, certain friends, lovers etc even the ones you maybe only get see once or twice a year so if I thought a new person may be worth it I’d travel any distance. Have travelled to Dubai with a friend to meet a couple once and in the UK SW & SE fairly often. If you only look local you will miss the best opportunities

I enjoy travelling, so I don’t mind going anywhere. However, I don’t think I’d travel purely for a meet. I’d probably fit it in around another reason to visit (work, a break away, seeing friends etc)

I have found in the past the further person travel has to travel more likely a no show. So now it's local meets only so an hour drive at the most.

We can't travel far and don't expect anyone we meet to do so. Distance just increases the hassle factor so we'd much rather meet someone who's staying in a hotel close to us and enjoy a stress free time.

I wouldn’t travel any distance for a complete stranger so social in my hometown first .

Going forward post COVID restrictions I’m going to add meet at a club or even at an organised social , so if things don’t “pan out” ... it will still be a good night ,

Chicago from the U.K. is probably the furthest we went for a meet. We did know the lady before though and she invited us to a party she was throwing so thought why not. Made a long weekend of it.

As for first time meets, no real limit, as long as it looks like an interesting place we’re fine with it. Worst case we have each other and have seen somewhere new. Best case we have each other, a new friend and have seen somewhere new.

I've went from Milton Keynes to a meet in hartlepool and back again in same night. Left mine at 6pm got there around 9pm. Was there for 3 hours and drove home at midnight. This was a few years ago mind but driving home was a killer as I was so shattered but luckily the motorway was quiet. In the end I pulled up into a service and had an hour sleep. Not sure I wanna repeat that experience lol but saying that, this one time, I met up with a lady at a public park and things got heated and it was around 9pm wanted to take her home when realised they lock the car park at 8pm so she took a taxi and I slept in my car overnight. The things I do

I'd travel anywhere if I thought it was worth it but I'd have a back up plan of places to visit in case I was ghosted with a no show.

Love travel and visiting new places anyway

Don’t mind a road trip at all, quite enjoy the adventure of it all. By the time I got somewhere it would either be an event or I’d know a person well enough to at least have a good time in any context.

But I suppose I am very infrequent within this world so the above is more possible etc.

Over 700 miles, including 2 flights each way, to spend a few hours with a woman I met online (not fab) in the certain knowledge that sex would not be the outcome.

Near Wells

I will travel far and wide for events, weekends away and clubs.

For one off meets 45 minutes max. The reason is because it generally takes me two hours to get ready for a meeting than add on an hour and a half driving there and back and that's almost a whole evening gone and I haven't even had sex yet. Sometimes the sex only lasts 20 minutes so that's quite a lot of effort on my part just for a guy unload.

I prefer to accommodate so I have more time to get ready.
