I've sent face pics to folks as they've requested them and because I keep them private for work purposes. I don't feel it's right having after having some nice conversations to be met by a torrent of abuse and nastiness for how I look alone. I'm aware physical attraction is important to a lot of people and I admit I'm no stunner but when these people themselves aren't exactly gods gifts in all departments it is soul destroying specially after some good and fun back and forth beforehand. Have others experienced similar and are looks overly vital as I've had fun but not been varied and have little to show for what fun can be had should others look beyond what's on the outside

I'm afraid looks can be important to a lot of people. That does not mean you're "ugly", just that you don't appeal to that person.

But to be abused for how you look? That's disgusting and certainly not ok. Please be reassured that only a small minority on here would stoop to that. X

I generaly send a face pic first, as I like to keep mine private for work reasons. Once I send one, it saves a lot of conversation first, that generaly puts an abrupt stop to any conversation, therefore I don't need to get overly exited about any meets.

It's totally wrong and unnecessary of course, to be abusive to others who have put their trust in us. Always report inappropriate behaviour from others here. If you can find any common aspects amongst these people, ut may help you to avoid and filter them out. Once social engagement is permitted, you might find that socials and clubs are a good way to get to know respectful people.

We prefer to keep our face pictures private for obvious reasons what we get upto is our business know body else's.. And we've had times where we've sent face pics and we've not been the other persons type that's fine it is what it is but you shouldn't suffer abuse for it

You'd think that would be enough and be rather civil but unfortunately the premise of the hashtag movement of be kind meant nothing to some specially in the current terms of things which is a shame because I've always been polite and respectful in my approach and answers and don't do cut and paste jobs when messaging every message is as unique, witty and slightly kinky as the writer himself but clearly manners don't always maketh man specially when you get called out for looking like a fucked potato even Wayne Rooney couldn't love

This site is no better than any other, for trolls and keyboard warriors. Must admit though that in your case, if you’ve been chatting for awhile and then rejected and abused that’s a real horrible experience.

I'd happily report them had I not deleted messages in disgust after being berated and blocked but I suppose they save me the benefit of having to cross paths with them again. My only worry is should (when allowed) our paths cross perchance at a club and they decide to continue their vindictive and spiteful abuse there. And yes I know clubs have a code of conduct but most abusers know how to hide the truth of their existence and actions.

I've experienced this quite a lot on here, it is very soul destroying indeed, espically as you said when you have had a bit of fun back and forward through messages, then to be met with nasty comments on how you look, it just says a lot about the person, what annoys me the most is when you report them for abuse and admin does nothing about it.

It's not a question of you feeling ashamed but a question of people naming others to abuse them. I could name you on our profile and say horrible, untrue things about you, there's no way for admin to police it. You wouldn't want that, would you.

Thank you for all the nice and positive responses it's nice to know that folks have experienced similar and appreciate that whilst I'm not going to be everyone's cup of tea, nor will I be a fuck at the end of some unbelievable messages (been ghosted then blocked more then I've been looked at), what I will be is patient and same old me as always whether some like the looks, the fucks or nothing at all I'm just going to have to report report report and pray some other less fortunate doesn't fall victim to such wretched loathing and negative actions.

I've had rants of insults for just saying your not for me sorry.Ive had a lady contact me that I've never spoken too calling me a skinny little bitch that shouldn't be in here then blocked me so I couldn't reply.Yet the lovely messages outnumber the nasty ones so dont let it bother you as its them that are hurting not you x

Sadly a lot of people are judgemental when they are hardly oil paintings themselves. When i had a couples profile we didnt really judge on looks because someone who was decent and reliable and discreet was more important than the vain pretty boys to us. We found some of the not so good looking guys as some would say were more reliable than the gym bunnies who used to no show without explanation. Looks fade but a good personality will last. Stay strong OP as there are non judgemental folk on here

OP . I feel your pain but fab is like a box of chocolates we can't all like the same thing. If someone gets abusive and is rude to your messages report their profile to admin as fab won't tolerate it and are very good at giving warnings or closing profiles down . There's no excuse for bad manners. Remember It's nice to be nice But it's nicer to be naughty

I just have to ask - do you match your profile description? And also, when messaging first do you say phrases like “you won’t be disappointed” etc.

The only reason I ask is because I must admit I’ve gotten angry at someone before when I’ve seen their pic. Only because they strung me a long for quite a while, and when I finally saw them they did not match their description in any way at all... age, body type, height, looks - all completely opposite to how they described and they laughed it off as “I was trying to be discreet”.

So, I’m not saying you do that but if there’s anything slightly misleading then that can lead to anger from some x

I match my profile in every way all be it unmasked and not as a loveheart but for my own sake and my business's I like to keep some pics private and don't even go to the extent of having loads of different pics of the same penis (I have one admittedly) nor do I have to gratify my pics with action shots or other such as I'm a firm believer that not everything should be objectified and critiqued much like my face has recently

I've nothing against anyone who wants pics like that on profiles or those who are more open about what they show publicly but for me good conversation/banter, humour and a personality that is what wins me over firstly looks aren't as important when compared to if someone is boring or nasty

Your not alone their iv been sent abuse after sending pics they asked for I just block them and move on doesnt bother me one bit a lot of women on here tho do think they are gods gift tho

Wow that's terrible I'm really sorry someone did that to you. Obviously everyone had preferences on what they do or don't find attractive but ther is a polite way to say I'm sorry not for me absolutely no reason or excuse for rudness, you should report any profile that thinks it's okay to do that

them in the first instance me on the 2nd so nothing screamed untoward and both profiles different from each other and conversation wasn't all on a sexual nature as some folk would rather a meeting of minds before meeting for other stuff which I more then fine

Some definitely have no problem telling me exactly what they find unattractive in my face. Of course, they never have have their own face on show, they do it because it's effectively anonymous. Almost an "expected" thing now tbh.

Think everyone on here has experienced being rejected, certainly myself, a lot of times. I guess some couples get so many messages that they’re not being rude or abrupt, but just can’t respond to all the folks who aren’t quite right for them. The ones who are outwardly rude maybe are just indulging some unpleasant aspect of their personalities, so probably a lucky escape, maybe?

Even couples can suffer the same.

We have had a couple of instances where we’ve been chatting to someone for a while and communication suddenly stops after we’ve sent face pics . We can’t take things like that personal. Plus I’m sure it’s better to know now rather than after arranging a meet . We are not all going to get on or fancy each other. But there’s no excuse for abuse of any kind.
