Craigslist v fab

Whats better or experiences etc. Personelly i found it was easier to get meets from craigslist as the site didnt attract as many timewasters. A female friend said this site used to be better before it became more mainstream and too many non decent men joined. Is this true?

Been on here for 10 years or so and actually found craigslist very bad. I found it full of timewasters, fake adverts and guys that wanted money for sex. Lickily I've never yet had any bad meeting experiences on fab.

Could the reason most people aren't meeting be because of the pandemic and not because they are waisting peoples time ?

When i was younger and part of a couple we found craigslist a good sauce but loverly to hear your take on it

This site isn't instashag, which some people coming to it may expect. Sites and services that don't need signup may cater more to those people who want zero involvement, apart from sex.

Any forum can be used in various ways but a couple of lines in a public advert are more open to hassle etc than members of a service with longevity.

It's always buyer beware, wherever and using your common sense and expertise. Having the right expectations is better than not too. I tried CL a couple of times and it was mixed. There's not really a good replacement, now it's closed down.

Male friend of mine on here never had much luck but uses the site where fish are aplenty and swears by it. Before the pandemic he said he was getting 4 meets a week on it.

I’ve been using Fab for about 9 years now, and have met some fantastic people, and shared some amazing times, and continue to do so! Fab has been brilliant for me

been on fab from when it started as i used to use 5 or 6 different sites before fab and yes it was brilliant but noticed now not enough is done to deter fake accounts and people charging for services as its spoiling the site and people are fed up of reporting only to see the same people set a new account up within minutes,

I love Fab. Previously had a couples profile and now flying solo.

Just keep your standards high, out the messers etc with filters. Luckily I’ve met some really great guys. I haven’t had a bad meet yet!

I thought craigslist took the personal ads off years ago

did use both at one point, not had any horrible experiences from either.

Fab is much better as it's a community aspect not just a fuck & go ad.

Doublelist has replaced Craigslist personals but their UK cities are very limited unfortunately, I've still had a few meets off there though

Craigslist died unfortunately. I met 2 couples off there which both proved successful.

It seems double list has replaced it.

Scammers on there though as I had someone email me trying to bribe me! I'd stay well clear now!!
