How could I forget The Clangers? I don't remember realising we'd changed to colour but I do remember the TV remote. It had two buttons: on/off and programme which just scrolled through three channels.

Our first remote was attached by a short wire to the TV. The armchair and sofa were too far away so we still had to get up !

There is an episode in Camberwick Green where Windy Millar gets d*unk. It is funny to think they allowed 3 and 4yr olds to watch this back then.

Pipkins was my favourite. Probably a bit earlier than that was a programme with a character called Wordy in it - can't remember the name of it now but remember watching that in primary school.
