Has anyone been recognised on here before and had someone ask them in public about being a member on here? Or have you recognised anyone you know on here and acknowledged it?

I once recognised a lady off here in a costa in Brighton by her tattoo and as I walked past her out the door I just said ‘fab tattoo’ and winked. I’d never say anything usually.

No, never.

Someone who lived near us recognised us after we'd met at an organised social. He politely messaged us and we would chat when we saw him. Nobody has ever approached us cold and we don't want them to, it's not discreet

Have seen more than one person on here that I know and would never dream of bringing it up unless we’d met at some kind of social or at a club. Genuinely think you’d have to be some kind of dickhead to approach someone IRL with “I saw you on fab” outside of a swinging event

I get recognised all the time while I'm at work normally I'm fine with it but it does wierd me out if a profile with no pictures is like seen you today doing xyz but they won't show themselfs... Like just stay quiet and don't say anything then... I've recognised a few people from here too

I haven't been recognised in person as such but some kind sole decided to see me on here recognise me use face book to find my mum and proceed to send her messages from an account with no freinds or pictures telling her that her son is on a swingers site screen shots of verifications including from couples luckily for me my mum and dad are down to earth and hilarious and just used it as amo to take the piss out of me but if it had been parents who were less laid back it could have caused a huge amount of grief all led to me no longer having face pics on here and been very cautious talking to any profiles that aren't verified

Haha my username hasn't always been anon but my old username was similar to my inst name and I was sick of people finding me on insta and Facebook all the time so I needed to change it but I couldent think of anything els haha went with anonymous not really because I care about not being known from here more just to keep my two lives as seperated as possible... there is just so many fake accounts on fab and from what I can work out they are purely on here to do things like that, fab really should make it harder to set them up must be a way of using credit cards or something to prove who you are.

100%. There is so many fake accounts on here now. It seems to be getting worse as well. I've had people inbox me asking me to verify them when I've never even spoken to them before

I've seen quite a few people I know as well. Few colleagues in the past, acquaintances, and some people just from the general area. I'd never let on to them though

Yeah, quite often. Then again, I do have my face on here and a fair few distinctive tattoos.

I don't really appreciate anyone approaching me in public. If I'm at a swingers club or party, then fair enough.

Some people take great pleasure in letting you know that they know you, yet won't reveal who they are. I find that rather creepy

A few friends from Fab messaged me to say that another member had posted up my real name on their status update (including surname).

I never put up pictures of my face, although I do get recognised on the nude beach from my pictures!

Had a few recognise me at a local nudist club too (from my profile pictures).

I've spotted loads of people I know on here but never message them. I often run into clients in clubs and they've always let on and nothing more is said about it. I've even ran into my ex boss. What happens in Clubs, stays in clubs though

No, I've not been recognised. Only ever recognised one lady years back who I'd been chatting to so we had swapped face pics. Even then kept it to a brief hello.

I once was recognised by the hairdresser on camp (forces at the time) - turns out I was talking to her on a different site and she "made" me. Fortunately we were alone at the time. Started going off camp after that!

Have recognised a few from here and clubs, never say anything but eyes met and smiles exchanged once or twice. Nothing ever came of it though.

We know swingers local to us and us them, we see them in the supermarket from time to time, but we are strict about not offering acknowledgement.

Not these days but few times in the invited to meetings, ladies in the meetings or running them, lets just say we have seen more of them than others.

It is quite difficult to actually hide the fact you know someone in a different light in close quarters, try and hide the fact the more it becomes obvious.

I know of a few people locally that are on here - some I know very well (not like that..!) - they don’t know I’ve recognised them though.

It’s their private life and I’d never say anything to them or anyone else.

I’ve had a couple of experiences of being recognised - mainly from have sent a message to them..!

One said they knew me vaguely.. and therefore didn’t think it a good idea... I was gutted as wanted to know who..! Lol

Another was a guy I went to school with and his wife... that was err “awkward..” lol
