Have done. Wouldn’t like to again. Having sex for the sake of having sex doesn’t really do anything for me

"Would you, should you, could you?"

As in not paying for it or not charging for it?

"Would you, should you, could you?

As in not paying for it or not charging for it? "

I thought it meant like pointless, like just having meaningless sex?

I take it to mean sex for its own sake, just for the sheer hell of it.

I think it's one of those words that can have very subtle differences I meaning depending on the context in which it's used. People often refer to gratuitous violence and that has sinister undertones for me

From Merriam-Webster:

Definition of gratuitous

1 : not called for by the circumstances : not necessary, appropriate, or justified : UNWARRANTED

a gratuitous insult

a gratuitous assumption

a movie criticized for gratuitous violence

2a : given unearned or without recompense

We mistake the gratuitous blessings of Heaven for the fruits of our own industry.

— Roger L'Estrange

b : costing nothing : FREE

It was printed in France at the author's expense, for gratuitous distribution to educators and others.

— Current Biography

c law : not involving a return benefit, compensation, or consideration

has gratuitous permission to pass over private land

I interpreted the question to mean sex that was not called for by the circumstances : not necessary, appropriate, or justified.

In which case no, I have never had gratuitous sex, nor would I.

An empty fuck? Nope .... it’s like McDonald’s only fills you up for a short time. I’m more a three course meal kind of woman ... has to be more to it and harder to come by.

Or you just have to have a three course or six course "McDonald's" to make up for it
