Afternoon everyone!

So we are finding lately that, we are hitting off with couples, but then after a few days, or a week or so, things seem to fizzle away.

And conversation gets slow, even when we try and be chatty.

The replies tend to get shorter and shorter.

This is due to not beig able to meet.

How are you combatting this?

What kind of chat are you engaging in? If you've got nothing much in common the conversation will fizzle out

Think thats a commom thing at the moment all things considered best thing to do is stay in touch and keep those lines open and then when life gets back to normal re-establish chats

It's normal and natural ,that chat between strangers fizzle out after few days. Its basically , we all know the meets aren't happening soon ,so after initial introductions and likes and dislikes ,there is nothing left to chat later .

I won't be worried too much

Hi guys. Similar here but we are also guilty of being the ones not chatting at times. We put it down to the lack of a meet but also the whole lockdown has made us a bit lazy at times as its a bit depressing some days and makes us sad we can't meet. That said, it does mean when we can meet, we will as we have missed it and people.

I think it’s just lockdown and no end of it in sight so it’s hard for people to chat endlessly.

We thought it would give us the opportunity to become friendly with couples so when Covid ends we are further down the line to meet easier but it hasn’t worked out like that.

A number of people we speak to don’t ask us questions to keep a conversation going, so we understand your frustrations. Just use it as a filter

Think that is just the way it goes here sometimes. Lockdown doesn't help but its also just where things don't always click and the chemistry isn't there

Definitely agree with not being able to meet or set a date that's soon participates in this as you can only talk about so much I guess

It's difficult to keep that enthusiasm when nobody can meet. Conversation dries up quickly if you don't have a common interest outside of fab.

I find if I've clicked with someone it's because we've found a common ground. Something other than sex to talk about. And I'm far more likely to meet someone after lockdown if we actually click that way

It's a tough one. I try to only check my inbox a couple of times a day, rather than rapid fire back and forth.

Not sure if that's a good idea or it loses momentum or if it is good as it stretches the conversation out.

But I just go with the flow, sometimes I check more often sometimes a couple of times a day. Whatever will be.
