Random friend requests

Why do people do it? Youve never spoken to them or anything, never fabbed a picture or sent a wink, never interacted with them on forums but yet still you feel the need to send a friend request??? Whyyyy?????

Its making me question the function of a friends list if you just have 30,000 randoms on there.

(Yes i know you can ignore them or hide all your friends only pics!)

I think some assume people need to be 'Friends' before they will reply to messages.

I think some have face pics in their friends folder so they send a request so you can see them, easier than sending attached to a message.

I think some people think it's like Facebook and the friends list is important.

I know they have either ignored my profile or just not read it...so I just block them straight off if I get any

I think some people send them just to perve the friends only pics. I ignore all friends requests unless it someone I actually know.

We just leave them to pile up...they can’t request again if they’ve sent one and we don’t delete it

We only accept friends requests from people we are chatting to and interested in. No random person is on our friends list and never will be.

I have to be honest. When our joint profile went active I had no idea how Fab worked or what the protocols were. I was guilty of sending out random friend requests if I saw a couple that I liked the look of.

Abby already had a solo profile and soon made me aware that it wasn’t the ‘done thing’

A few years later and I understand how frustrating it can be.

Newbie over exuberance is ok, anything after that is not on.

It's just to perve isn't it.... I get guys adding me. (should I say, trying to), and I think they thing I must have a picture of my cock in my friend's photos (I don't actually). It is strange though isn't it?

Same. I literally have hundreds!! I know they send them so they can see my friends only pics!! But my friends are guy I know and have met or am planning to meet in the future

Our profile clearly says not to friend request unless we have met before or spoken. But we still get them.

We just ignore and delete the request.

Lots fo it to see private pics. Ive had it said to me when I've asked. So I've said no plus I dnt have graphic pics so wasting your time

The thing I do when I get random friends request, is wait for them to go offline and accept the request.

I then like/fab all their shitry, blurry pics then immediately unfriendly them.

I sometimes block after that depending on how I feel about that profile. Lol

Makes me feel better anyway... Hope that helps

The ones that I can never understand are the out of the blue requests from the other side of the country about 200 miles away where there is hardly any chance of a meet, or the ones that are local but they never reply when you try arranging a meet. Most I just delete and usually make friends with people I have met, but sadly meets are rare, and friends I have made over the years have left the site so my friend list is depleted now, maybe just one or two left last time I looked a long time ago.
