Does anyone else think that this site would benefit from a major update to a more modern look and modern features. Also anybody who joins should have too photo verify before access is granted ? ( get rid of the fakes and blokes pretending to be couples) no arguing please folks

I completely agree and actually raised this point a few years ago, but it's been the same since then apart from the addition of uploading videos.

Especially for the money they must make, an update is the least we should get

There’s circumstances why I haven’t got them on at the moment. Basically I found a friend on here and most women don’t like the profile with a dick on it. Also it’s not an argument just a discussion

Not judging but if how you want things, you wouldn't be here until you had photo verified.

That's cool but so many people probably wouldn't join if it was compulsory, same as photo verification is quite easily faked probably.

I’m gonna do photo verification tonight just for sake of it haha and It will definitely stop most of the fakes and a better interface on the site would be so much better. And as someone said above there’s thousands of people on here who are site supporters so it must make quite a bit.

Yes I agree. I wouldn’t like it too move over to the model of a social media site but take some of the good things from it and implement them would be great.

I have always thought why isn’t this an app but due to the nature of it I don’t think it can. However I do think a chat app like fb messenger requiring your fab log in would be better for messaging.

I actually don't think it's too bad aesthetically.

Could definitely improve on some features though.

Likes/comments on statuses and edit button in forum would be great.

Generally use the mobile version, but on occasion when using web based site, find it ‘all over the place’ and not very user friendly

If it ain't broke don't fix it they say and personally I'm not sure it's broke - yes it's basic, and could do with a tweak here and there but it is functional and works perfectly well.

Not sure bells and whistles would enhance it a great deal.

We’re pretty happy with the site and it’s layout, it’s easy to navigate with the ‘tile’ layout. Has everything we need down to accurate searches and filters, and allows us to block anyone we don’t need to talk to.

Improve functionality sure. Appearance? It’s ok and does what it needs to. Amazon hasn’t materially changed the appearance of its site over the last 20 years abd they seem to be doing reasonably well

Personally i would give everyone one week free membership before becoming a site supporter became compulsory. In my experience nearly all the timewasters are non supporters.

Agree, I think it benefits from being basic. Too many features are a distraction. I prefer the streamlined version we have. It has everything you need to find and communicate with whomever you seek, adding more would make the site lose focus.

I like the 'retro' look, doesn't take ages to load and make my phone run slow like some nicer looking web pages do. Although as others have said the desktop version is a bit cluttered... But again it's fast and functional. And what we need most is function.

Fab may not be ultra "modern" with a load of bells and whistles but

1. The site works, I can find sex partners when I want

2. Meets happen easily (pre COVID) and by and large people take no for an answer

3. You can see pictures when you need to

4. You can show pictures when you want to

So my suggestion is leave it as is, what works ..... works !

Some people are meeting regardless, our local updates always has people looking to meet. There's loads of fake veries too. The hottest Woman we've ever seen on Fab messages and winks us regular, she's got veries too. Our fake radar says no

Photo verification can be faked as easily as anything else so it would be a waste of time.

Yes there are lots of fake profiles but there is already an inbuilt tool for avoiding those. It's called common sense and having a bit of cop on.

For us its view , speak on ohone ( to both sexes if a couple) I do get a kick outing the timewasters , played their game but have always worked them out !, one guy woukd just not admit he wasnt a couple and that they were both there until i said send a photo of you both , one of you holding a cup on your hesd , the other a cushion !( strange request and laughable but it did the trick !!!) the lengths you have to go to !!!!!
