Don't larger balls help a cock protrude more, lifting it forwards and a little up? Tiny garden pea sized balls won't give it much oomph forwards.

Do smaller balls hurt more, when knocked? As the nerve cells etc will be more condensed into a much smaller area, it could give a bigger probability of a larger density getting inflamed.

On the plus side, being smaller, they're a smaller target to hit.
