I've spent so much of my adult life fretting about how 'hairy' I am - and feeling 'unfeminine' as a result. And much time removing it, particularly in recent years, which, for someone with sensitive skin, invariably resulted in irritating rashes, varying degrees of pain depending on the method used, even nasty ingrown hairs sometimes which made me feel crap and kind of defeated the objective anyway since I wasn't going to put *that* on display! Not to mention the resentment of spending hours on the process for poor results that I could have used more constructively.

So...right now I'm 'hairy', though I prefer to think of myself as natural since 'hairy' conjures up an image of a bigfoot or a yeti. I've not even trimmed the edges for over a year (thank you covid). The world hasn't stopped, it's one less chore to think about and I now have a full bush which is soft and fluffy instead of lumps, bumps, grazes, stubble etc.

I don't care what anyone else thinks of it - it's not as if I'm going to be forcing myself on anyone who prefers their women to be smooth. All I care about is that those with opposite preferences don't body shame - I wouldn't dream of doing the same to someone who removes their hair, that's none of my business. As ever it's fine to describe what you like, not so fine to put people down because they have opposing tastes. And as if it needs saying, yet again, hygiene comes from your personal bathing routine - not from the presence, or not, of hair!
