Do you enjoy cooking?

Can you cook? And I mean, properly cook from fresh. Not just slapping something out of a tin, into a pan and call it cooking.

Do you enjoy it? And what’s your favourite recipe to cook?

I am quite good at cooking and have developed a few good recipes like a good wifey! My favourite thing to cook is either Lasagna or as a veggie option, stuffed peppers with rice and mixed vegetables (apparently one of Lady D’s favourites!)

Love cooking and make most meals from scratch. That said I can’t do timings so most dinners are some form of casserole or anything that doesn’t need precise cooking Freya x

Can't "properly cook". Don't enjoy it. Life's far too fucking short as it is.

Food snobs baffle and frustrate me.

Yes. Love cooking. Get an organic veg box every week. The randomness forces you to think of, or look up, new recipes.

As somebody who once rarely cooked and ate out more often than not, I am now someone who makes pretty much every meal from scratch.

I set myself the objective of preparing a meal that I would happily pay good money for in a nice restaurant. Often that takes several attempts to perfect a recipe, but once accomplished, the sense of culinary achievement is rewarding.

I like cooking, I’m too tight to buy lunch at work every day so prep all my food at the weekend.

Cook pretty much everything from scratch, favorite would be lasagna. Everything is more convenience and bulk.

Currently on first meal of chili, have another 6 this week and realized I’ve made it far too hot

We’re both very good cooks.

My personal best recipe is butternut squash risotto with rhubarb and Mango sausage meatballs I make from our local farm shop

His best dish is a big pan of scouse. Perfect for winter

Interesting...

I registered with "hello fresh" but cancelled my subscription because I found I could cook a lot better than I thought, and the portions are just for two.

I found that so restricting! I was adding all sorts of herbs and spices just to make it more interesting!

I love Mediterranean dishes, so love making Paella, Salad Nicoise, Ratatouille, etc.

Recently watched Rick Stein make a Sicilian Pie. Line a deep pie dish with thin slices of roasted aubergine, fill with pasta and meat sauce and a thick layer of hard boiled eggs in the middle. Bake until set, and slice as you would a pie, and serve with salad and a glass of wine...

"Beef burger is not cooking....."

I've found there's an art in doing them right!

Baking the brioche buns myself, nice shoestring fried onions, making my own Algerienne sauce, smash patties (which can be done wrong easily) the right seasoning..

I'm very particular tbf ??

Something’s seductive in preparing things.

Taking your time.

Letting flavours caress your tongue, before indulging what’s finally laid out on the plate.

Lost the texture in the beans, broad beans work better.

I'd say I own the kitchen enjoy cooking with a passion and I prefer to marinate my ingredients and work my way up (Fusion ) as a base I enjoy my meat dishes some with a huge combination of veggies whether grilled fried or all cooked together same goes for fresh fish, poultry, pasta I don't follow recipe books because their is no wrong or right and always use a good variety of herbs but I still burn toast for a purpose

I think with the array of Videos available at your finger tips, If you have the spare time it’s not hard to be able to chef a proper meal nowadays.

My favourite to do is pasta Aglio e Olio(If anyone has seen the movie chef it’s “That” Scene. Mine of course is missing a half naked Scarlett Johansson in the on the bed but alas..

I love cooking.

I’m pescatarian but eat mainly veggie food. I cook almost every meal from scratch and what often starts as a simple meal, often ends up turning into something really fancy.

I cook a damn good roast dinner too but my favourite treat to do is a tuna steak on a griddle in lashings of butter. Cooked so you only need a fork to eat it.
