Just wondering if anyone has booked or is going to book any holidays this year , do we think it will be another year of no playing and no holidays , love to hear your views

Also not sure how it stands if you book and another lockdown happens

We're due to go away in March, just waiting for it to be cancelled. If so we'll rebook for May, but that's unlikely too! Unfortunately there may be no swinging holidays this year. We'd settle for a holiday in the sun, just the two of us. We can only hope

Not a holiday as such but we have booked for the lifestyle festival Aroura. We bought the tickets last August before all this came about but we're not optimistic it will go ahead

We've resigned ourselves to not going anywhere and will be as delighted as we are surprised if it turns out we're able to. With rules changing so fast, it's quite a leap of faith to book something now and maybe even go somewhere not knowing how long it might take to get home again. We'd want a relaxing holiday and that'd be more stress than it's worth for us.

I have a weeks golf in Portugal in June, postponed from last year. Not entirely confident that will happen. Otherwise I’ll wait to see what the situation is and maybe try to get away in October, but it’ll be a beach holiday rather than anything more glamorous

I’ve got holidays booked and have booked since.

As long as your not too disappointed if they are cancelled and are 100% sure you’re insurance covers it then I don’t see the issue. Also that your happy with any changes to covid guidance like isolating on return and things xx

Yes.

Amalfi Coast in Sept.

10 nights.

Everything crossed that it goes ahead.

I should be in Sandals Jamaica right now!

Also, hoping for something around June/July, but not too hopeful.

It's such a fast moving situation, who knows.

I was lucky to get a month in France in August at my place I'm doing up. Since then every ferry that I'd booked throughout the year has been cancelled. I'm booked to go in February and April but can't see it happening, then again for a month in August again (hoping and praying that one will happen).

Yes we would love to be looking forward to Gran Can too

not looking to book anywhere at the moment though,

Just checked the deal we were watching for late spring and it's maybe gone up very slightly, by £20 each or so.

We've already received quitea few two and three-night bookings between late June and mid-August...

....no full weeks or longer yet - but anticipating there might be more people having 'staycation' holidays again this year...

....unlike some venues, however, we're not hiking our prices!

I just posted this on another forum in the virus forum.

Sorry but anyone booking a holiday abroad in 2021 is completely delusional. The government have already warned us that there are still going to be restrictions in place next winter.

The vaccination program is expected to be rolled out into the autumn which is just the first injection, the second will be approximately 12 weeks later! You do the maths!

The last lock down cost me over £1,000 in a lost holiday with a Villa company that wouldn’t pay!

I’m not booking anything until I consider it at least likely I will get to go ... I can wait!

I think anyone who does book a holiday at the moment does so entirely at their own risk and shouldn’t complain it does go wrong of they get quarantined.

As for Ryanair advertising’post jab holidays’ ... word fail me!!

Sandals are always brilliant resorts with great food.

It wasn't running a full capacity due to covid and had to book all restaurants but no big deal.

Beach was absolutely beautiful.

Antigua as an island are doing an amazing job where the virus is concerned to.i took my mask down and within minutes I was told by police to get it up.No messing.

Oh Jeez, you two let loose in GC

Would the island know what it's in for

Avoiding high summer, it's quiet for swingers then and some clubs/bars close around

then for a bit, October through early november is a good (busy) time to go

We never know until nearer the time when we're going to be able to take a break though.
