"Is there interservice rivalry like in the US? We call US marines crayon eaters and window lickers.

Reds my favourite colour, are you telling me there's a better way to clean windows?

Idk if it it is a requirement at Parris island. Maybe the crucible training.

Buzzcut, crayons and singing songs about Eskimos pussys...where to I sign up?!

Lol we do have some pretty dodgy cadences."

Ah bless its cute when you yanks say funny things like cadences when you mean song or witty jingles hahaha

"I have a weakness for fighter pilots

I like a man in uniform , but not pretend ones as in costume, got to be the real thing ...

I used to meet a RAF pilot from a local base and loved it , he works for BA now .... it's just not the same .

It's the full flightsuit and helmet that make me melt

Really?..still got mine in the attic..

Yup

Well there's a helmet I never thought I'd have a use for again.. "

Bridgend

I'm a brat, so a proper uniform is something to be kept in good order for me. I don't have daddy issues so I couldn't think of anything worse than a man trying to "win me over" with talks of uniform

They are attractive, but so not for me!

Her x

Oh yes please. Once played with a soldier. He came to a meet straight from a work meeting, full uniform. I nearly melted in a puddle on the spot

Of course, it's traditional:

RAF=Crabs

Army=Brown Jobs

Navy=Surface-Fisheads

Submariners-Smellies

..and that's before any specialisations..

Damn. I don't think anything was flying out of Leeming when I was there fora short stint. We flew out of Topcliffe, which makes me very old..

"Fatigues do it for me "

british military dont use that term, Fatigues are usualy punishment, shitty jobs you get given like panbash mopping water on the parade square in the rain, that kind of thing.
