I finally had an orgasm and my therapist says it's the wrong kind

The topic title is taken from a Woody Alan film... but it prety much fits so seriously....(sorry it's long winded.

I've not been able to orgasm with a partner for lots of years. I also have virtually no luck making myself cum without the help of a toy (vibrator)

Before 'squirting/gushing' became all the rage People used to talk a lot about the elusive G-Spot orgasm.

Now a lot of females on here say they gush but they don't consider it to be or even feel like it is an orgasm.

But both the 'G-spot orgasm' and the 'gushing' come about from the same stimuli (I think)

When I first joined the site, the first meet I had here made me gush (my first time ever) but I didn't feel anything other than a puddle

You get the odd study report, but usually involving just a few women, rather than a study with 1000's of participants.

well i do orgasm (sorry) and lots and some of the most intense orgasms r from gushing were i literally soak oreo and if he hits the rite spot can really flood him. the thing i have found is do u really care if someelse thinks its an orgasm ? as if it feels good to u then just enjoy because maybe the feeling will just get more intense and wonderful xxx

If it feels good- it IS good. Enjoy and don't worry how to class it. . With one woman's experience, too, ie me, I'd say there are loads different 'kinds' orgasms but if they feel good that's all that matters x

If it feels good keep doing it. I only orgasm with my bloke and it's a kind of 'full body' thing. It makes me shake, feels fantastic, lasts ages and kind of scrambles my brain. It's not the same as orgasms I have on my own but it feels good.

Taking from them all, I'm gonna say...yes! lol! I am cumming. I know it doesn't really need a word (other than Shpadoinkle!!) but as someone said above, I do shake, it does take me over and I definitely want more!

Well I don't always orgasm when I gush/squirt...but when I do.....wow - it is so intense. When I was a teenager I used to have a poster on my bedroom wall which said "if it feels good - do it", I don't have the poster anymore, but I still believe in the maxim

I think the sometimes elusive orgasm also depends on your mood as well as the physical stimulation.

I do find it easier to orgasm now than I used to...I used to worry about being too loud so was always concentrating on that instead of letting go. They do vary a lot and I can have great sex without them. I can also sometimes have several orgasms in a session, but that does tend to be with my fb who does seem to read when I'm close pretty well. With clitoral orgasms I tend to find that my left leg shakes a lot...don't know why it's just my left leg, but the daft thing is that if my leg is stopped from shaking I can't seem to peak! I've never gushed/squirted though, but I'm not really arsed about that. I have had guys insisting they can find the magic switch, but I just don't think I have one!

All orgasms are different and only you can truly tell if you're having them, but it does sound to me like you are...and even if you aren't it still sounds like you are having a lot of fun! x

i find that the orgasms i'm having now are completely different from the ones i had when i was married. don't get me wrong he knew where the spot was and found it every time.

they are now harder to find but oh fucking boy when they find it its so much stronger than it ever was

in my house its now called the csi orgasm as my daughter has to turn the tv up when i have company. infact i've been banned from company on a thursday as she has nothing to turn up.
