As a girl I always take protection seriously, usually condoms with another form of birth control as a back up in case of accidents. Do other women do this too? What are mens thoughts about it?

And why do we all fantasise about unsafe sex or is that just me?

Safety is paramount, but condoms are not just about pregnancy its to aid in the prevention of STI transmission.

We also ensure that single females who visit us have time/opportunity to contact friends/family/safety call to let them know they are ok.

As for why do people like to fantasise about bareback, here are my thoughts why so many who claim safe sex only are quick to talk BB in private:

Its because its taboo and everyone rails against it.

Its because someone else is telling you what to do with YOUR body and how YOU should act/behave.

Its because its exciting, men can feel an element of ownership/possessiveness.

Its because we want to feel special and get/give something that other’s don’t usually get.

Bareback feels better and has an illicit feeling to it which makes it more exciting.

Obviously for me (Mr) it is the fear of STI that prevents me going down that route as I had the snip at 29 so no danger of unwanted offspring.

I’ve never fantasised about unsafe sex. No fear of pregnancy with me as I’m now not able to get pregnant because of my age.

Safe sex all the way for me, however STIs can be passed orally so condoms not 100%. Regular testing is best if you are sexually active.

I got pregnant while I was on the pill.

Since I'm allergic to latex I always have my own supply of condoms.
