I used to look at lots of profiles, search for males in our age range and area etc. If I was keen I would look a few times, hoping they'd notice and possibly respond with a wink or message. I'd never message first and I think that's because I'm a large lady and accept I'm not everybody's preference (which is absolutely fine). So I'd wait for them to make the first real move, so to speak.

It worked for us.

We just choose from those that message us. It is rare I would search or look at men's profiles unless it's someone I notice in the forum. I'm aware we are probably missing out on some great men by doing this but I don't like putting myself out there to be rejected.

We have filters up for single guys so we tend to choose who we like the look of.

We’ve played with guys who simply fabbed pics in the past but mainly tend to look for guys who we like the sound of in the forums.

It can be anyway for us, often we get guys message us but many don’t seem to read our profile so some searching of our own can lead to us making the initial contact.

We also look for couples and check when they have similar interests to us and have decent verifications from single guys. That can serve well.

Once this pandemic has been put to bed we will get back into it
