We are not a couple, we meet up for very sexy fun whenever we can which at the moment is impossible due to the current circumstances.

Our question is 'Does not being a couple put people off?'

We feel honesty is the best option as there are no surprises.

It will some and not others. Not us as we play separately and as a couple.

Some feel that a non 'real' couple have less vested interest so might try it on with one side (normally the other guy to the Mrs). But then, we feel strong enough to be completely open and tell them to politely sling their hook if that happens.

We aren't looking to meet a couple so this is probably an outsiders view.

I suspect it will turn some off but the main thing is you are being honest about it. We've been surprised at how many "single" women we have spoken to that suddenly mention they have a partner who wants to be involved as well

We always try to be upfront about how we met and our situation.

Find its easier to get rejected early that the day before a meet.

Wouldn’t for me but then being male and on my own is probably more a turn off for meet ups. Me though I’ve always wanted to join a couple (obviously on their terms because it their comfortability that maters). However meeting a duo that are friends with benefits certainly isn’t a negative factor. I would probably be a little more relaxed meeting them tbh. Either way though, respect and good open dialogue is always going to ensure everyone is on the same level.

We played with a FB cpl and the dynamics were different , didn't enjoyed it . So decided no more fuckbuddies in future, prefer married cpls now .

It puts me off those who are fwb, but married to other people.

We are both single and have known each other for at least 15 years so we are very comfortable with each other

I’ve got a couple fwb who I could actually spend time with and have a drink with and then a couple of people I know with benefits who I don’t say a word to. Prefer the former and it works

I don't think it would bother us how a couple run their relationship as long as they are reliable and we all get on well.

I remember being on here with a previous swinging partner a few years ago and it was very common to find people only wanted to meet romantic couples. FWBs was a real no-no for many. I don't find many people requiring that nowadays but we're romantically involved anyway so it wouldn't affect us.
