im going to just throw this out there as i imagine there will me mixed replys,wont meet smokers on somebodys profile,personally i think its totally hypocritical to have that on a profile.Ok for example sinlge guy has it on his profile a smoking hot female gets in touch with him,he is no way going to say no thanks you smoke,the way.I used to be a smoker i dont now but no way would i ever put i wont meet smokers

its personal choice i have it on mine and on our joint profiles we choose not to meet smokers as i find the smell a turn off of stale smoke on their skin (im not saying all smokers smell bad as some are very aware of the smell) and am asthmatic so certainly wont go to a smokers home for a meet. We have chatted to couples in clubs and then found out they smoke when in a private room with them and i have walked out so its not hypocritical for us.

We didn't meet up in the end. He had a 'late meeting' that he couldn't get out of

. But really, if you are willing to meet smokers, why not say so?

I quit smoking last September and have to admit that I now don't particularly like kissing smokers because I can taste the tobacco.

That said, we would never discriminate against smokers and will meet them. Just don't offer me one thanks - I have my E-cig

Wherever I am, if it's indoors, I go and ask if it's okay for me to use my e-cig. I do sometimes get funny looks from people in bars when they see me blow out the vapour.

Long before I took up smoking, I randomly snogged a stranger during a night out.

As a non-smoker and as somebody who had never kissed a smoker, I found the taste revolting and then proceeded to throw up on the poor sod...

If you have ever smoked, it seems to be a more bearable taste/smell to deal with, but I don't ridicule people who choose not to meet smokers. - I know that when I didn't smoke, I used to find EVERYTHING about it disgusting, and certainly wouldn't want to fuck somebody who stank of it and was breathing it on me .

we have actually changed our stance on this.

first off we said we wouldnt want to meet smokers, as Em had not long given up.

now, however, we are easy, as long as those that do dont feel the need to be smoking just before we play, as the smell is still horrid.

I think as long as smokers refrain from smoking in the presence of non-smokers and freshen their breath before playing I can't see the problem after all not many non drinkers refuse to meet drinkers and the smell of stale beer can be just as bad

Not bothered either way us selves... we both used to smoke. People smoke, it's a fact of life, and it's their choice. If they want to smoke, we've got a place outside for 'em to do it with a sandpot and everything... just not in the house.

Certainly ain't going to sit there putting on that fake cough because someone lites one up and all the rest of the anti smoking malarky - cos that's just twuntish.

We meet people whether they smoke or not.

We both smoke , and like NN we constantly get couples and single guys messaging us who have won't meet smokers on their profile !

We have actually met so many men and women who won't meet smokers and then they smoke - so clearly it's another example of saying one thing to make yourself appear more 'meet able' and doing another !

Happens all the time and not just with smoking - dare we mention the amount who say safe sex only ?

I used to smoke, (still have a sneaky one now and then) i have never smoked in my home and never will. I used to manage a restaurant and the stench was incredible, stale smoke and stale beer. I have renovated 4 houses and scrubbing the ceiling with sugar soap and tobacco juice running down your arm is not pleasant

Ex smoker here.....meet a guy who smokes, he goes out the back for a quickie (fnar, fnar) then comes back in with a chuddie.... I have no probs kissing him....

My mam has just moved ouutta her house (stunk to high heaven, couldn't manage more that 10 mins without near enough upchucking) into a flat where she chooses to smoke outside......she's smoking less n I'm happy to stay for longer.....xxx

Some people will do absolutely anything for a shag and don't care. Therefore they struggle to understand how others are "fussy". Today I've had an Asian man telling me he was born here and can think white so I should meet him, a man that can't accommodate because of his kids and at 43 outside my filters contact another member asking him to send me a message to meet him!

Comes as no surprise therefore the op thinks it hypocritical for people to actually have a personal preference. I've walked away from someone who looked the spitting image of Daniel Craig because he sounded like Joe Pasqualle, I'm not going to kiss someone who smells and taste of tabacco!

No matter how much spearmint a smoker sucks you can always taste it...yuk!

there's a simple solution to this smoking problem.

people who don't smoke,find the smell repugnant,disgusting,even downright sickening.

people who smoke,find the smell strangely alluring,with a hint of sexiness,in many cases extremely satisfying.

so here's the solution,if all the non smokers,started smoking.all of those negative vibes,would be replaced by positive vibes.

the smell from smokers clothes,the smell when kissing,in fact the very smell of smoke,would be a bonus.

plus with the countries current financial crisis,the extra revenue,could be the difference between,sink or swim.

it's a win win solution.

so light up today,help make tomorrow okay.

Smoking is a disgusting habit. Smokers stink and not just their breath. My profile even says that if people smoke they would have to refrain from doing so if we met - I have tried this and it doesn't work, they either want to nip out for a quick fag or their yellowing teeth and stinking aroma has put me off right at the start.

Its personal preference, jen is an ex smoker and dislikes the smell of stale cigarette smoke especially on a guys fingers like she experienced on one meet wih a "non smoker". Yuk. Smokers cough and wheeze and are lazy .

whats hypocritical, I dont want to kiss an ashtray, of course of someone hides it by not smoking for a while and looking after thier mouth hygiene then id probably never know but even then at least they are gonna think about it and make the effort, if someone turns up with breath like a fagbut then you are well in your rights to tell em where to go

To be honest its not just specific to smoking you see it all the time on alot of people profiles regarding lots of other preferences for instance:

Women state wont meet single guys but look at verifications anf they have met them, or some state strictly under 35 again look at verifications and they have met older... fact is people change minds, if the person is of interest to them they will meetits only a guide not set in stone.

i quit smoking but it dont bother me,

im never going to be one of them ex smokers who are on a crusade against others smoking trying to get people to quit

alot of people had success with e-fags, but i found the best way to quit smoking

was to stop buying them! if you do you can only smoke other peoples fags and even if you do you have cut down quite a bit! worked well for me, did it my second attempt and never went back again

i just quit as sick of giving them out to all my brothers friends lol

Afraid i'm one of the anti-tobacco brigade. I'd like to see smokers confining their habit to their own living quarters. Nothing worse than having to hold your breath walking down any high street, or going into a supermarket. Even going by in the car with windows down, you get belches of fag smoke coming from other cars. If you come to my house, you smoke outside, as the pile of fag butts i have to clear from last party will prove. And don't expect me to kiss you....bleurgh!

But while you are walking down the High Street you are breathing in Carbon Monoxide, Benzine and all sorts of other polutants from the exhausts of cars. Is there any corelation between the decline of smoking with a decline of Lung Cancer? I doubt it............

Ive been saying it for years...and i know this as a study, from my nursing.Walk under Glasgows central station bridge...u take in the equivalent of 20 cigarettes.Smoking as being blamed for cancer is part of a ploy to hide the other such factors of modern life.There is also the poor dietary intake of westeners around the world..thats also a factor in cancerous contractions.

I'm not saying I'm against preferences..but please anti-smokers..dont hit me with health issues I know well and clearly...even those that are hidden under the veil of misinformation

hahahaha, nah its coz at the time i was about 20, and my bro was 17 and all his mates were 15-17 too, so they all just getting into it and had next to no money, but i had twenty decks every day, and one day i reckoned i had about 5 tabs and gave the rest away and was like fuck this i dont like it that much haha

We both smoke and have it clearly on our profile, if people choose not to meet us because of it, that is their choice. Are we offended, no!

Interesting how a thread about people who don't like and wont meet smokers mailing smokers for sex has become a rant on why smokers are bad people.

i never once mentioned the health issue. as an overweight ex-smoker, my health is gone to hell in a hand basket already. I'm just merely commenting on the smell factor. Just the same as I wouldn't allow anyone stinking of diesel in my house, as i find that smell repungent also. See, that's the thing with being an ex-smoker....stop smoking and you can smell and taste everything again! It's us who should have sympathy....as my waistband and nose will tell you!!

I do agree there, I have given up a few times and after a couple of weeks ur smell does come back and it is pretty unplesant to smell smokers on the street (I always find it very tempting though, which is why I keep failing to give up). But telling a smoker that they stink is largely unnecesary, we know. The point og the op is that he seems to have had people (ostensibly) like you mailing them asking for a meet, despite declaiming a reluctance to meet smokers.........

always makes me laugh that

none smokers will happily drive by me in their car and make me breath their exacused fumes in but i light a fag up and they have to hold their breath as they walk by.....go figure

Hi guys, I've never smoked,CS did many years ago and in the past we have met so called considerate smokers but no more.

One lady kept taking a break from the fun to lean out of hotel window to have a quick one, had a couple other meets like this and it made us stop meeting smokers.

Also met a loverly, sexy, non smoking couple who we hit it off with straight away after meeting at a bar.

After 20mins the guy had to check something in the car, 20mins had to make a phone call, and 20mins off again and evey time he came back smelling of smoke, why lie? it's not like we'll not notice.

We are not anti smokers but now prefer not to meet smokers, the same as we prefer not to meet straight couples
