I’d love to know what the percentage of people on fab that actually meet, and are not just here for a cheap thrill.

I’m going for 80 percent just fantasist and dreamers..

Put it higher that don’t meet , thou you can still have loads of fun on here with those that do meet

Nobody can arrange to meet via fab and remain within the terms and conditions,unless they live in an area with no covid restrictions. So the percentage ought to be 100%

I was more talking about before all this.. but yeah lots are meeting and in open view of fab.

Think we should be moving to tier one in the next few weeks in Plymouth

even in normal times the number is pretty low i reckon there are a lot of dreamers and fantasist then there are alot that just use fab as a facebook type thing i reckon in normal times less than a quarter bearing in mind the higher % of membership is men ...

i wonder how many men there are ?? must be more than 50% 0f the site in fact id not be surprised if it was around the 70% mark..

but after all that everyone has a rights to be here and use the site as they wish as long as within the rules

I’m part of a couple that meets single guys.. this profile is for me to meet couples...

so I do know how flakey guys are and the sort of messages single girls get.. honestly it’s crazy..

we decide to set up separate profiles to try something different.. my other half now gets so much mail compared to when we had a couples profile..

The wife and I had a couples profile for years, we regularly met singles as well as couples. In the end we now have decided to have single profiles.

We meet. We’re not fantasists obviously we are not meeting people at the moment due covid restrictions.

We also have singles profiles and it’s a new thing for us.. fab is making my Mrs now have a couples profile.. don’t really understand this tbh? It’s fine but I se elite of couples with singles profiles.. and have had them for years.. guess they must have there eye on us

We meet. We have only met socially this year for obvious reasons and only within government guidelines. We have met one couple who we have known for ages and struggled to get a suitable time with, but we were invited round to theirs for the evening. We have met two single women by arrangement at naturist clubs in the summer.

We have a couple of virtual conversations lined up and it's possible we'll end up meeting the closer one when the time is right.

Hopefully next year will bring more than just socials.

I don't know how to work out what proportion of people meet, but for us it's not just a fantasy.

pre covid the % would have been low due to timewasters/fantisists BUT so much fun when you do!!!!!

10 years ago on Fab, I would approximate about 15 to 20% actually met or had the intention to Now, I`d be surprised if it was 5%. Has become a chat site and a site for narcissists who want their pics "fabbed".

I appreciate the covid position, I`m talking pre-covid.

Not meeting at the moment but have done in the past. Suppose everyone is free to use the site how they please but think the worst part is people pretending to actually want to meet as that does waste people’s time. If your only into ‘cyber’ fun, be up front about it x

Yeah I've never understood the attention seeking aspect, it's not as though you win a prize for most fabs!

Personally if someone likes my shit pics I hope it's because they're interested in meeting.

I rejoined before first lockdown after 6 years away. I’m trying for meets but folks understandably want veris. I’ve had two no shows, and one social which didn’t lead to anything. It’s beginning to wear me down but will keep going.

Seems there are a high % of members who are not very active and a small % who are super active.

Not everyone is here to meet!

I'm fairly frequently told I'm one of those fantasists/dreamers--but just because I choose to not meet **you** doesn't mean I don't meet the ones I want to meet!

When times were better and we could meet up, I'd say 99% + of the guys I arranged something with did show up.

There's nothing wrong with being here just for the thrill, though. If you let the person you're chatting with know you won't be meeting.

In non covid times I'd say a good 50% of the messages I received were guys just looking for wank-fodder, no intention of meeting up (and 50% is me being generous, if anything it's going to be higher than that. I'm not particularly attractive or popular, and I'm guessing those who are get a MUCH higher proportion of guys just wanting to wank over their photos).

Of the other 50%, maybe 5% are of interest to me, aren't obviously cheating and can hold a conversation that's engaging enough for me to want to meet them. Maybe 20% of those guys are within a reasonable geographic range for us to meet.

One guy for every two hundred who message has real potential to meet. Then if you look at who is free when I am, who is actually looking to fulfil a specific fantasy that isn't my thing, who decides I'm not their type after a social, who I decide isn't my type after a social... I'm guessing for every 400 guys who message me, maybe 1 will end up in bed.

Thankfully, most of the guys I've ended up in bed with have been worth slogging through 399 guys' conversations to get to.

Yet to meet anyone from here, because of COVID. Other apps, sites and *gosh* real life (rarely though being honest) before COVID sure... well.. until Grindr banned me for sending a GIF to someone.

A lot of people I know think that I’m ticking around lots because I’m polyamorous. Just because I can downy mean I do.
