I've been binge watching the playboy show Swing and it's pretty insight regarding the swinger couple dynamics. I think first the couple has to genuinely enjoy having sex with each other and second they need to have pretty good communication.

I've noticed in a few "couples" during parties where the guy basically dumps the female once they arrive and or use her to team up with other couples then abandons her.

I haven't been with a couple before but if I was it would have to be with a real couple where the guy just wants to watch his partner enjoy herself..
