The tunes are rocking, San Miguel flowing, it's crazy time

Welcome to the Friday Night Mad House!

A thread of random banter, fun, laughter and naughtiness.

A good place to get to know eachother or just talk random rubbish and you can ask me any questions you want (I'll answer honestly)

The weekend starts here!

That's sounds amazing.

I've not had a break away for a few years now. I won't put my dog in kennels.

I trust said cabin has a hot tub for necessary shenanigans

It's a hard question as there are loads, but if you only had one pick on a Jukebox, what would you choose?

I wish I had no neighbours.

I'm in a downstairs flat and the girl upstairs is a careworker. She's a heavy sleeper so needs loads of alarms to wake her up.

But they don't go off when its time to get up. Oh no. They commence 3 hours beforehand from 5am and go off every 15mins

She doesn't realise Cindi is a light sleeper and the slightest noise wakes me up grrrr

I've always been musical, as has my family.

I play piano (no room for one so I have a keyboard) my Dad plays saxophone, my brother the guitar, my sister violin.

For some strange reason we've never got together for a music session. I mean, my sister lives in Canada, but that's no excuse

No instrument skills here, though we do have the room for the grand piano. Moved from an 18thC farm workers tiny cottage to here where the lounge is 28ft x 20ft with a 9ft ceiling. Currently has one of my motorbikes in it as an ornament

Yes the collaborations are amazing.

The use of technology during Covid has been very creative.

But also funny.

Every time someone is on the news I'm scanning the background of their house for weird stuff

It's amazing how many decide to be interviewed in front of a bookcase.

If it was me, I'd have a massive picture of myself hanging up behind me

Testify!

The solo guitar section in Sweet Child of Mine is perfection.

The way he plays it, you expect what note is coming before he plays it.

"Good evening good people... and the bad ones too!

What are we listening to?

Evening Sir

I'm listening to modern boom boom music whilst talking about 80s classics. It's most bizarre lol

X

Your 80’s classics may not be my 80’s classics!...

I'm intrigued now haha, do tell

Ooh... Early AC/DC, some Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Whitesnake, Eric Clapton and a few others too but you get the idea"

Ah workshop tunes for when I’m spannering on people’s bikes.

Agree on the early AC/DC

"Bad day for the cut on netflix

Never heard of it

You should watch 24 (if you haven't already, it's awesome series)

Try Kingdom, newish on Netflix. Korean I’d guess at 18thC with zombies.

Different but very good.

S"

Ooo that sounds interesting.

One is always on the lookout for unique things. Alot of stuff is repetitive these days, so I like stuff that's different

That's a great mix, and GnR in for good measure?

Of course!... Actually didn’t appreciate them as much at the time, but I’m wiser with age!

Testify!

The solo guitar section in Sweet Child of Mine is perfection.

The way he plays it, you expect what note is coming before he plays it.

True musical genius "

Even better live...

Working out the garden would be pretty cool.

All I have is a back yard.

I'd love a nice country house with a garden, trees for nature and a little stream at the bottom.

It's one of Cindi's dreams

I’m a city boy from Brixton but you’d love it here. We can see a small b road but not hear it. Are about 300ft up the side of the valley on a dead end track with three houses on us being the last one, in a woodland setting & the only things to wake us are owls, sheep or cows as we have three dairy farms within sight of us.

It took us all a while to get used to the silence tbh.

Oh & I discovered I have mild tinnitus from the years of bike riding I guess.

I could bullshit & say it was all through hard work blah blah, but truth be told it was pure fluke, we just got lucky.

That sounds perfect to me.

I moved from Newcastle to get away from 'city life' and live at the coast at South Shields.

Don't get me wrong I do love it here, but I love my peace and quiet and a nice cottage in the middle of nowhere really appeals to me.

We are just on the edge of the Cambrians known as the most desolate of the ranges in Wales. I’ve walked four or more hours up there with the dog & not seen a soul or a vehicle. A lot of the pine forest has little wildlife to be heard too so it’s unerringly quiet sometimes.

Anyway we are off to bed.

night night.
